I’ve been to omakase a few times and this was absolutely the best I’ve had. I came yesterday and was so good I had to come back again. Highly recommended!! Chef Vincent was the best both times!

Chef Vincent is incredible. I went to Omakase OSUKAA yesterday and loved it so much that I came back again today. Every piece of sushi was perfectly balanced, from the toro, uni, and caviar to the creative hand rolls, and you can really taste how fresh the fish is. The pacing, explanation of each course, and warm service made the whole experience feel personal and relaxed rather than rushed. For the quality of the omakase, the price feels very fair, especially in Midtown East. This is easily one of my favorite omakase spots in the city and I will definitely keep coming back.

Fish was 4.7, unfortunately rice was a 1.9/5. Rice was very mushy, and I feel like should be the integral part of service. Excellent deal overall due to fish quality, however rice was extremely mushy and subpar. I suspect that there’s a bit too much volume of customers at different seating times (this is what happened to the two of us), to pay attention to rice cooking times. Rice is edible, but I would say near unacceptable for omakase standards. Honest review!

Dining at Omakase OSUKAA Midtown East was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I sat down, Chef Sam took me on a culinary journey that was equal parts artistry, precision, and pure joy. Each course felt like a carefully crafted story—beautifully balanced, deeply flavorful, and visually stunning.
Sam doesn’t just prepare sushi; he performs it. His attention to detail and his passion for the craft are evident in every slice, sear, and brush of soy. The way he explained the origin of each fish, the subtle seasoning techniques, and the perfect temperature of the rice—it was like watching a master painter bring a canvas to life with each brushstroke.
Beyond his incredible skill, Sam’s warm personality made the evening even more special. He creates an atmosphere that’s both elegant and inviting—equal parts fine dining and friendly conversation.
If you’re in Midtown East and want an omakase experience that will completely ruin you for all others, this is it. Trust me—sit at Sam’s counter, surrender your palate, and let him do his magic. You’ll be smiling long after dessert. 🍣✨
