Philly native and Olde City founder Evan Stein has been serving up cheesesteaks in NYC since 2005 with his original concept Shorty’s. Evan has moved on to launch this truly unique brand. Each item on the menu is delicious. The beer selection is carefully curated with local breweries from PA and NY. The creative cocktails are unexpectedly serious and always served without pretension. The service was fine, the waiter only took our order and only came back to give us the tab as we finished up (never checked in throughout the meal to see if we needed anything).

Two I give them credit for keeping it Philly yet there's something messed up about it. Let's start with the chicken Philly. I payed about 20 plus dollars for the chicken, it comes on a authentic Philly style role yet the chicken quality is poor. Frozen processed chicken. It would be more authentic to use fresh chicken right out the pack......third, let's get to the steak I have the same issue with this steak it was frozen beef. Philly uses a hood ribeye or 100 percent sirloin steak bloody fresh red meat. I give the steak experience a 3 and I've tried this multiple times. The cheez Wiz is a lil on the aweful side and the meat taste gamey the service isn't the best more of a strickly business type of deal and that's ok sometimes yet I'm not feeling the steak. The fries are bomb...
