  I took my girlfriend to this café for breakfast as a surprise, and she absolutely loved it. From the moment you walk in, everything is beautifully decorated and perfectly aligned with the atmosphere they want to create: chic, elegant, and very cozy. The space feels warm and inviting, with a strong focus on greenery and natural elements throughout the café. Both the coffee and the food were genuinely delicious. We ordered specialty coffee, avocado toasts, a cookie, and a cinnamon roll, and everything was excellent in terms of quality, presentation, and flavor. Even the tableware deserves a mention: it’s beautiful, very well chosen, and clearly designed with great attention to detail. One detail that really makes MAMAN stand out is that it is a screen-free and work-free space. You can go there to enjoy breakfast, have a coffee, chat, or read a book, but it’s not a place for working on your laptop or scrolling on your phone. This policy really enhances the experience and encourages you to slow down and be present. As a nice extra, you can also buy souvenirs such as their distinctive mugs and thermos, coffee beans to take home, and even the recipe book by Martha, who we assume is the original founder of the brand. A beautiful place with great food, excellent coffee, and a very well-defined concept. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a special breakfast spot in New York.

  This place was so wonderful, the food and the service was awesome, we had Nino and she was so friendly and helpful...give this lady a promotion asap!

  No soap in the bathroom I told the staff , but still they didn’t bring it out. Also requested one of staff to tell a customer lower her voice when speaking on phone. No one did anything

  This is not a place you come to if you want a pleasant experience. Ran by inexperienced staff, under managed and quite unprofessional. They spilled coffee on my guest. Mistakes happen but this type can be avoided with better team communication unlike the discourse I heard between the staff.

  I have to give a huge shout-out to Maman for completely upgrading my day—not once, but twice. I walked in thinking I’d just grab a quick coffee, and instead I left with two new obsessions, all thanks to the sweetest and most genuinely helpful barista, Halle. First, she recommended the new Martha Stewart lemon bun, and I swear it’s my new favorite thing on the planet. It’s bright, citrusy, perfectly soft, and has that homemade-but-somehow-better vibe Martha is known for. Halle described it as “a must-try,” and she was absolutely right. I’m already plotting my next trip back just for that bun. Then came the second gem: the tahini honeycomb latte. I was a little worried it’d be too sweet, but Halle instantly reassured me—and she was spot-on. It’s beautifully balanced, nutty with a hint of honey, and just the right amount of indulgent. It’s now my go-to drink, all because she took the time to walk me through it. Honestly, Halle made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. It’s rare to find someone who not only knows the menu inside and out but actually listens and cares about helping you find your new favorite thing. 10/10—amazing pastries, perfect drinks, and service that makes you want to come back again and again.
