Love this place. You must try their baked goods. Many vegan options and done right. Decor very zen. Reminds me of a cafe in Williamsburg with all the willow tree decor. They have a communal table but it’s a bit loud with teenage chatter. The front is more relaxed. Coffee is great and close to Bryant Park and Times Square.

Lobe this place. I order usually papa’s breakfast boul and honey labender latte and it’s make my day. The only think that makes me nervous is a lack of place to sit and you have to be alert on who is finishing to eat in order to catch a table .

Soooo, where do i start? My dad and I went to this cafe because the line of the cookie store was way too long for our liking.so my sister and mom went to the cookie store and we went to the cafe. It looked promising,it was fine. So downstairs the service was really kind. It was really full,so we said:hey,we are 2 people at the moment,2 others are coming. The server was really kind and easy going. So he brought us upstairs and told his coworker that we would sit at a place for 4,cause my mom and sister would come later, when we went down, the other waitress said we could not sit there and gave our place to someone else!! How rude? So we asked if we could sit on like a waiting sofa.he was like idc. My dad called him over many times but he ignored us.so we went downstairs cause my mom and sister were there. We then got a place to only eat sweet things and drinks, even though my dad was hungry. We waited for 10 minutes until my dad asked the manger why nobody is coming to us,he explained you have to buy at the in front. I was in shocked. So when we ordered the 2 young ladies were a bit rude….so my sister wanted the WiFi password,so I asked and they looked at me like I asked do you have a place where I could put a corpse?!!! So they went like:ugh no! No WiFi! Uh? Sorry don’t have to be so rude! My dad brought a cookie and it was disgusting! Never again!

We walked into Maman around 11:15 on a Sunday, and while it was busy the brunch crowd wasn’t too crazy and we were able to snag a table before we considered going elsewhere. I will say it took me way too long to realize this was Martha Stewart’s restaurant lol but the decor and vibe were cute- I particularly loved that all the china was blue patterned but all with different patterns. Ordering was quick and easy at the counter and the cashier grabbed the drip coffee right away- I was a little disappointed that my latte came out in a disposable cup as I really liked their ceramic mugs! But the drinks were good. The food came out fairly quickly- my husband got the Belgian waffles with berries and cream and they were absolutely top notch. The waffles were crispy, the whipped cream was rich and they were smothered in berries. I got the quiche with caramelized leeks- it was good but probably only 3 stars in my personal book. There was just so much leek that was 80% of the flavor- the egg just held it together and I really didn’t get any cheese. But it was hearty and filling and I still enjoyed it.
