The chicken salad sandwich was unreal and the honey butter drink was amazing. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. It took my server 15 minutes just to bring water, and when I said I was ready to order, she told me to “wait” and then helped someone who sat after me. After my food arrived — which was pretty quick — she never checked in or refilled my water. When I asked for the check, I ended up waving her down for about 10 minutes in a not-so-busy restaurant, and eventually had to get up and pay at the front with Deja. Deja was super nice and accommodating when I told her the issue. I’d recommend ordering at the front and sitting down, or asking for Deja to assist you. Overall, the food was genuinely great, and I’d come back to try more of the menu. The service needs to improve, and the staff clearly needs additional training.

The counter person was unattentive and refused to help us with our questions. I got the famous rum cake, which was dried on the cut surfaces. The cappuccino was very good, I love the ceramic mugs. The toilet was clogged, there was no toilet paper and the walls were quite dirty in the restroom. This cute spot needs some improvement.
