It’s perfectly moist, not overly sweet, and packed with real banana chunks that make every spoonful taste fresh and comforting. Truly the definition of a “must-try” when you’re in New York. Based on the staff’s recommendation, I also tried their apple crisp pudding, and honestly? Zero regrets. It has real apple slices, the most satisfying texture, and a warm, cozy flavour that tastes like a hug in dessert form. Magnolia absolutely nails their puddings — balanced, flavourful, and just indulgent enough without being heavy. The service was lovely, the shop smelled like heaven, and everything felt welcoming and nostalgic. If (more like when) I come back to New York, I will be making a beeline straight to Magnolia Bakery before doing anything else. Their puddings alone are worth the trip.
