Far too often in NYC are you forced to choose between convenience and quality, with the best pizza spots (like ceres, L’industrie, or John’s) having long lines and/or uncomfortable seating. Kid, on the other hand, is a friendly, comfortable experience with good service and top-notch pizza. I have been here 3 times and everything has been great. The pizzas have nice char, good structure, and fantastic flavors with a nice fluffy crust. Some other highlights include the fried chicken, mozzarella sticks, and cabbage (which I would compare to a dish at a top tier small plates spot). The desserts are fantastic too, particularly the malt sundae. Very happy to have this spot in the neighborhood.

Trendy and modern interior but music was pretty loud so we had a hard time talking. It's a fine place but no desire to return, really. Prices are a little high. 3.5/5 stars

On the bill the drink was listed as a rye for $15 plus $3 to make it into a Manhattan and then another $3 to serve it straight up? I called it out to the host who apologized and took it off the bill. Not the end of the world but just seemed odd to charge for serving a drink straight up.
- EZElise ZimmermanDec 9, 20255.0Love Kid Pizza! They hosted a special event for us in their downstairs space and it was so wonderful. Food was delicious, drinks were just-right, and the service was so genuine. They went out of their way to get all the details right, and quickly adapted to any needs/questions we asked in the moment. When my daughter asked for a Shirley Temple (her favorite), they gave her a special deconstructed version and she Loved adding in her own cherries and ingredients to make it "her way." Thank you to Sam and the entire Kid Pizza team, truly!
