    I can't even begin to explain the family warmth. The coziness,the unbelievable family vibe here at this restaurant The owner , such a nice man, greeted my wife and I and greeted every other family and friend who walked through the front door. If that doesn't sell you, well the appetizers the chicken empanadas the ceviche, absolutely amazing. The main entree my wife had the ropa vieja,stars across the board me, my pollo Quantanamera was unbelievably the best I've ever had. The atmosphere the band the service five stars across the board. Thank you Quantanamera for making my 31st. Anniversary so special. My Food Family Friendliness the greatest. If you want the best go to the best. Quantanamera NY.

    Absolutely delicious food and it feels so authentic too. I had the ropa vieja and the black beans were amazing! Not too many restaurants have good beans so I can happily say that I’m glad I took mine to go too so I can have it at home a few more times. Highly recommend it 👏🏼

    I got the ropa vieja, one of my favorite dishes ever, and it was the best I had ever had. Even better than the ropa vieja I had in Cuba. They really cook it for a long time.

    I trust the team here like I would trusted family members. Each time I visit, another menu item gets tasted. The workers helped with my grandpa's walker. The meals reflect fresh preparation and careful seasoning. I'll be back without a doubt.

    Fui a Guantanamera y la verdad es que la pasé muy bien. Es un restaurante cubano con música en vivo, y cuando empieza a sonar la banda el ambiente se enciende por completo: risas, gente bailando, y esa energía alegre que solo tiene la música latina. El lugar es un poco apretado, sí, pero eso también lo hace sentir más cálido y auténtico, como si estuvieras en una fiesta entre amigos. El servicio fue muy bueno; el mesero fue amable, sonriente y siempre pendiente de la mesa. La comida está bien, con sabor casero y buenas porciones. Las bebidas no están nada mal —especialmente los mojitos, que van perfectos con la música. En general, es un lugar para disfrutar, pasarla bien y dejarse llevar por el ritmo. Le doy 4 estrellas. Ideal para una noche diferente en Nueva York.
