  Went to see a show in NYC, looked for a dinner place prior to the show and wandered into the Boqueria at W 40th st, spanish food, we tried tapas, all the seafood tapas and several others, mostly 80% of the menu, everything was great, felt like we were in Barcelona again, Leo and Darlene who were taking care of us gave us an exceptional service. I had such a great time. Definitely going to come back when I visit NY

  My sister and I were in town for her birthday and stayed at the hotel next to Boqueria. We ate at the restaurant for most of our meals. The service is fantastic! The GM, Maryland, was lovely and accommodating. We didn’t know she was the GM until later. She moves so unassumingly. The food is great. I would come here the next time I’m in the city.

  Tapas are ok but the chicken used breakfast paella for 2 tastes like it is not freshly cooked It had old cooked meat aftertaste. I had the drumstick. The meat was not soft but was likely drumstick that was a day or two old and cooked but not used until today ( likely surplus of cooked drumstick/ chicken) It was tough meat We frequent this Boqueria at W40th but never ordered paella or anything with chicken

  Loved the service and food is amazing!!!!! Thank you Joel! EDIT: My friends and I loved it so much we returned the next day to dine again. I will be back next time I am in NYC. Thank you to Collin for being such a gracious and personable host! I recommend the entraña steak, croquettas de jamon, blue cheese bacon wrapped dates, bikini grilled cheese. Everything was divine!

  Disaster. Had 3 different servers during dinner. I think it was due to cuts but every time we got a new server they had no clue of what was going on. Gave my dinner order 3 times to different people only to receive the wrong order. I approached the Manager to get our bill because I could not find any of the 3 servers we had ordered from for over 40 minutes. A complete waste of time and money. Definitely not worth the price we spent on dinner as I’ve had better service at a McDonalds. Very subpar experience overall.
