Andrea's Pizza brings authentic, old-school New York-style slices to the heart of the East Village. Founded by veteran pizzaiolo Andrea Kenuti, formerly of Scarrs Pizza and L'Industrie, the pizzeria opened its doors at 50 2nd Ave in July 2025. Every thin-crusted pie is hand-tossed, lightly charred, and topped with perfectly balanced tomato sauce and melty, salty cheese, earning rave reviews from local tastemakers. With cozy indoor booths, outdoor tables, and delivery rolling out soon, Andrea's blends nostalgic flavor with a modern, neighborhood vibe. Stop in noon to midnight daily (extended weekend hours) for the kind of slice that keeps East Villagers and visitors coming back for more.
Best thing to happen to this neighborhood— the most delicious pizza!! Thank you, Andrea.

Both the regular and Sicilian slices are top notch. You can taste how the dough is in the lineage of Scarrs and L’Industrie. One of the best new slice shops in the city!

Great slice! The dough was really well developed. Had great chew. I personally wish it had sliiiighly less cheese (which I know isn’t an issue for some people!) otherwise this was top level. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was great. Shop was clean.

Love the vodka pesto slice, but the cheese slice was kind of average

I came in here on Halloween with my brother for the first time excited to try the neighborhood pizza. Pizza looked good so I grabbed two pepperoni slices. There was a tall man with a beard with an attitude off the bat. After we ordered our food we asked that we get it to go in a box. He proceeded to put the food in a bag. We thought he didn’t hear us so we asked again, kindly. He proceeded to put our food in bags. We asked a third time and he visibly scoffed, and threw boxes on the counter to box it up ourselves, as if it was an inconvenience for him. I am not sure if this behavior was due to our race as we are both black men, but I’ve never experienced such hostility while simply trying to order a slice of pizza.
As for the food, the pizza was cold but it wasn’t bad. Overall, don’t recommend eating here if you’re a person of color, especially if the bearded man is working.
