- LVLuis VargasJan 4, 20263.0The drinks and appetizers was great. We had the scallops had sour cream didn't go with the dish. Then had the short ribs it was way overcooked and very dry, it needed some sauce and the palenta was too dry in a cake form.

We didn’t get served any food for an hour and thirty minutes. When it did come, it was very average and had likely been sitting in the window a while. While it was a full restaurant, there was only one waitress (I use the word loosely) on duty. She actually left around 9:00pm, literally leaving the full restaurant with no waitresses!!! The busboy and bartender were delivering orders (2 hours after ordering). The owner or maybe he was the manager didn’t seem to care. Everyone in the restaurant was complaining and had a similar miserable experience. I would avoid this restaurant like the plague. I would starve before going back. This is actually a better review than it deserves.

The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, and even though we sat at the bar it felt like we were part of the whole room. By the time we finished, the place was buzzing in the best way. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating when we arrived a little behind schedule, and made sure we could still enjoy everything without feeling rushed. We ordered from both the specials and the main menu and enjoyed some excellent cocktails. Every dish felt fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. Harvest House perfectly captures that farm-to-tavern feel — warm, welcoming, and delicious. We’ll definitely be back!
