for the standard of nyc, i think the price here is extremely reasonable and the tomato broth is so good. i wouldn’t recommend the spicy one because it’s covered in oil but it was good nonetheless

Drove up from Brooklyn only to find out that they closed their kitchen super early 😔 don’t put that you close at 12 AM if you really close at 10! So disappointing. Even online for ordering this isn’t properly reflected and really misleading.

I just so happened to stumble across this place while checking out the different restaurants and stores located here in Flushing Queens mirror Citi field. I figured I would get some authentic Chinese food and here I landed. When I walked in it was hard to communicate with the staff members because they're Spanish and English was very limited. This doesn't make good for customer service. I believe they should always have someone representing who can speak English and Spanish fluently especially English if you are in the United States . So the bowls that I set for you to collect your raw food I look at it in a container that looks similar to a refrigerator I'm assuming to keep the bowls and tongs sanitized. When approaching the buffet on the lid that Culver's over the food you will see the names of the items listed. This was helpful but still a bit difficult. A lot of the items I did not recognize and it did not taste like but I'm familiar with. Such as the turnip I got approximately five pieces of this round so called vegetable and I did not taste like time it was very gummy. Perhaps in Chinese turnip is different from the American turnip I don't know nonetheless I continued Empower my plate with fresh vegetables and then I came across the fishing balls which appear to me to be some kind of Pasty product rolled into a ball with flavoring. Coming towards the end I got noodles ramen as well as some mushrooms and bought it to the counter requested that I have the food prepared as a soup they did not understand me and there was an extra charge for what it was not clear. With the small amount of English spoken from the staff member it was explained that I was being charged for the soup base which is abroad but I just asked whether or not I could have it as a soup and I was told no this is why it's so important for English to be understood so they prepared my meal dry, it was good but I would have much more preferred a soup. The cost was a little bit more than I expected because they charge you per pound so if you want a lot of vegetables don't pound your plate up with a whole bunch of news or anything that's heavy. The Ambiance was nothing to Rave about just a room filled with chairs and some coloring on the wall nothing special it was kept neat however they have a little area where you can self serve sauces and condiments that area was nasty sauces were spilled on the counter and the floor was sticky. That's why a four-star was given. As always I suggest you try it for yourself
