I looked on google maps and checked on McDonalds app, that’s it’s open today on 12-25-25, I made an order, payed for it 20$ and was sure we are good to go and pick it up. The doors were locked, my son had a meltdown for an hour, there was no one. I cannot get a refund in app and my bank charged me for that order. I have no idea how to get my money back, and that is a horrible customer service experience for me and even more for my son who cried for so long. If an app didn’t take orders or at least didn’t charge me for it, or had an option for refund that would be better….

I got to the window and she told me I owed $4 and change. I said that couldn't be my order as I had ordered a meal. She looked at the screen confused and said she didn't have my order. She was very blase about it and said she just didn't put it in. She did say it would be out shortly. I said okay, thank you. I don't know what happened, but when I went to open up my bag and eat my meal, the sandwich had just been thrown in the bag- no wrapper or anything. The different parts of the sandwich were strewn around the bottom of the bag and all parts of the sandwich were cold. The english muffin hadn't even been toasted. It was horrible and a complete waste of money.
