It’s hard to put one star for the service as some staffs were really great and friendly but there are always some bad apples and 2 of the ladies I think shouldn’t even be in the service industry at all, I only remember one name but I’ll come back writhing once I get another name, it was on different occasions. The one tonight was Katrina, I saw her training another girl but I think she is the one who should get trained on how to talk to customer before she can even be allowed to work! I ordered Dasani water and she gave me regular Rio branded bottle water which I didn’t mind but she keep telling me it’s not her fault it’s rio’s fault for letting me order Dasani from the kiosk at certain time, she have it but she won’t give it to me, I was about to leave with the regular water and I told her I’m a customer it’s not my problem that your kiosk allows me to order Dasani but it’s ok I’ll take the regular water if you say so, immediately she got mad and say she have to call security because I have an attitude!? I even ask her to call her manager for me and she refused keep saying she will only call security because I’m rude? So who is rude here? Don’t worry Katrina I will make sure your general manager know about this as you are really not suitable for this job. Everything is recorded by the cctv so let’s see who’s being rude. I was supposed to play some bacaraat game but I left for another casino as my mood were affected badly by her attitude.

Tried Canteen Food Hall at Rio Casino and honestly, it was a letdown. We ordered the salmon poke for $21 and got the tuna (only 3 tiny pieces) for $12—definitely not worth the price.
The food didn’t taste mediocre, the service was slow and unhelpful, and we waited way too long for what we got. Disappointing overall. There are way better food hall options in Vegas.

This is a tough one to write because we REALLY were excited to see all of the options when we booked at the Rio for their NEW foodcourt.
Ramen, Sushi, Burritos, Smashburgers, Sandwiches, Chicken - DAMN they thought of everything.
We arrived around 8PM to the property so our dinner was later and the Ramen sounded soooo good!
The only option was to order online as nobody was physically present to take our order at the counter. - No big deal, it's late, staff is hard to find, I get it.
We order the food, 2x ramens with pork and chicken, it was ready in literally 3x minutes! IMPRESSIVE!
BUT the broth was very very bland, the noodles tasted under and really chewy. The Egg was cooked perfectly, but here were NO siracha, or other options like soy to add some flavor to the blandless broth / noodle mix. Sup par -
The next day we tried two other options, the Burrito place and the philly stand.
We ordered 2x phillies and were done quickly again in less than 5x minutes all cooked fresh in front of you. The Bun was great with good chew and would definetly hold together with some aus jus, but there was none with it, not a big deal, but the moisture would have helped with some flavor cause this steak had absolutely ZERO flavor, no salt, no pepper, no nothing. It was NOT good. SEASONING isn't a bad thing and again, zero condiments for sides. The peppers had no texture, no flavor.
The second option was the burrito place where we ordered 1x carne asada burrito and 2x quesos.
The burrito - NO FLAVOR - nothing. Good tortilla with well / medium well steak devoid of seasonings. So disappointing.
The Chips were GREAT, literally the best thing we've had, great texture, crunch, and could hold the dips without breaking.
The queso, disgusting. No other word for it. definitely not a proper queso, more like the frito lay shelf stable queso that can sit unrefrigerated for a decade and still be "consumable"
Other little things - Fountain soda is $5? No water cups? Not everyone wants sugar non-stop. No Condiments anywhere and half of the "fountain machines" were not working.
In all we've spent about $140 in two days on food that was aggressively below average.
The food court is a massive disappointment.
