  At one moment for some reason I thought I'm in France, but then I wasn't. What a good feeling. Great food and great experience.

  From the moment I step through the doors of Blue Ribbon at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, I know I’ve come home. It’s not just a restaurant … it’s my tradition. For 15 years, in spite of the so many other restaurants in Vegas, this has been my favorite stop in Vegas, no matter the trip or occasion. What keeps me coming back? The people! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and deeply personal. From the reception to the dining room, the staff make you feel seen. In particular, the General Manager …who I’ve gotten to know over the years, runs the place not just with professionalism but with heart. She treats every guest like a friend. That’s rare in Las Vegas, where so many spaces feel transient and impersonal. But here, thanks to her and the team, this place becomes a gathering for us, my family, friends, extended Filipino family each time more meaningful than the last. The food & drinks experience We’ve celebrated birthdays, holidays, family milestones here, my son’s birthday, our big Filipino-family get-togethers, countless special dinners. The menu delivers again and again: elegant plates of their award winning fried chicken ( my favorite!), their signature bone marrow that is filled with deliciousness, oysters, steaks, and seafood ( oyster Rockefeller, and steamed clams are new favorites for me, seafood tower with a group) that have earned rave reviews. One critic described the fried chicken as “elevating this Southern staple … an impressively crispy crunch.” And they have the most amazing cocktails at the bar, btw. And the desserts? Sinful! Indeed, guests praise the combination of excellent service, a lively yet comfortable vibe, and a kitchen that consistently delivers. Why this spot stands out • Consistent excellence: Many visitors say Blue Ribbon is “one of the best places in Cosmo by far… food is amazing and super consistent.” • Outstanding service: For example, the general manager and hosts welcomes us personally, making the experience extra special. Her whole team from the amazing hostess all the way to the servers, you feel so welcomed which is rare in a transient city like Vegas. This is what we enjoy every time we dine here. • The setting: Located on the 3rd floor of the Cosmopolitan, tucked away yet set amidst the buzz of Las Vegas, so it offers a mix of energy + intimacy. A few personal memories • The moment we walked in and the whole team greeted us like we belonged. I should mention Mary, the hostess is so amazing and very welcoming and greets you right away with your name. Joey, who has always been wonderful to us and very knowledgeable at parties with his recommendations, and everyone else in this restaurant! • Celebrating with my large Filipino-family (birthdays, thank-you dinners, girlfriends night out, milestone celebrations) and always knowing this place would deliver both warmth and wow. • The feeling that this is our restaurant in Vegas. Every time we visit, it’s not just dinner… it’s a memory in the making. Overall impression If you’re looking for a Las Vegas restaurant that does more than just serve plates, but creates a place you return to year after year - this is it. Blue Ribbon doesn’t just host meals, it hosts connections. High-quality fare, attentive service, a manager who remembers your name and treats you like an old friend … and, most importantly for me, a space where my family can show up, feel known, and celebrate life together.   "Hostess was great, but after being seated, a tall man brought our menus and when I asked him if he could tell me the difference between the Bordeaux blend and the Cabernet, his response was both curt and cocky “one is a Bordeaux and the other is a Cabernet. That’s the difference.” And he immediately left the table and never returned. He is clearly a very unhappy person and meant to contaminate us with his misery. What he accomplished was setting a negative vibe on Blue Ribbon and the Cosmopolitan. Our plan was to have dinner and then check out the bars, but instead, we had our dinner and left the Cosmopolitan altogether. Now, I have no interest returning. Bad vibes. Don’t want any of that, especially in Las Vegas.

  While in Las Vegas for a music festival, my husband and I wanted to have a nice dinner. We went to Blue Ribbon American Grill after seeing their price fixe menu online and everything sounded delicious. We made a reservation and then speed-walked to get there on time from a couple hotels away. We get in there and get our seats which were deep lounge chairs. I made a small comment to my husband about it and the woman working there, immediately asked if we wanted them to bring out different chairs, in fact she insisted. The new chairs were much more comfortable for us. Our waiter, Stephen, was very charming and paid very close attention to all of his guests. The entire staff was the same, they all worked together to ensure every customer was happy and had anything they may need. We ordered the price fixe menu. I got the Steak Tartare, my husband ordered the oysters and shrimp. We both decided on the spicy tuna crispy rice and the steak frites. Everything was served in a generous portion and so flavorful! We also had both desserts which were so satisfying. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

  A True Gem: Unforgettable Food and Service for Any Occasion! The food here is outstanding, a true steakhouse that also has a variety of other dishes that are delicious. The Oysters Rockefeller we never miss as well as the crispy spicy tuna. Great presentation and even better tasting . These appetizers alone are worth the trip. We order the split bone ribeye almost every visit as well. It’s a great cut , and consistently cooked as requested Awesome service from the staff and management . The entire team makes every visit special. Friendly service starts right at the door with the hosts and carries through every interaction. Management, Sheelah and Joey, are very accessible and honest about their favorite items from the menu . Always a pleasure when they visit the table . The servers are efficient and knowledgeable, with many of the staff trained by Joey when he was our favorite server . A huge shout-out to the bar staff, especially Ian and the other male bartender with glasses who has been a fixture there for many years. I apologize, I forget the name ! They are always ready and willing to whip up awesome cocktails on or off menu . The Blue Ribbon bar is a great spot for a flavorful and quality drink . The restaurant itself is perfect for large parties as well . On our last trip (August 18th, 2025), we had a very large group for a bachelor party, and it was a perfect dinner that was well enjoyed by all. Similarly, in April 2024, they were able to accommodate another large group for a family-style dinner without any issues whatsoever. If you are looking for a reliable, consistent spot , Cosmo has many that have been thriving for years. Blue Ribbon is definitely one of them! We are always very happy and satisfied with our experiences at Blue Ribbon!
