    The worst service and worst place to eat in Elko, Nevada if you order all you can eat they delay it for an hour so they don’t have to feed you very much. Very dirty and poorly managed

    We've been coming here over the last 3years. Food is always consistent and delicious. Everything is always fresh. The staff is attentive. Thanks for the always delicious food and always great service! You guys are amazing. Ps- I see some mentions of slow service in other reviews- they get very busy, and staff is usually maxxed out. Also, freshly made food takes time. It's always a head scratcher to me when people expect fast food at a sit down restaurant. If you're in a hurry, please don't choose a sit-down restaurant during their rush hour and then be frustrated everything isn't instantaneous. They are humans, just like the rest of us 🫶 They're dealing with people all day long. Show a little kindness and remember your schedule doesn't dictate theirs.

    What a terrible experience tonight. I brought my two employees and their plus one for a little Christmas party dinner and totally regret picking Himiko now. Food was ok but the service was absolutely terrible and the wait times were even worse. Many people at other tables were irritated and no one seemed to care. The food or the drinks couldn’t be brought out at the same time so everyone was sitting there watching someone eat. Absolutely ridiculous. We decided to cancel our last rolls and just leave. The owner was sitting on his laptop at the bar and never said a word or even cared when I complained about our experience. This used to be one of my favorite places to go but obviously it has gone downhill and I will never go back. Now that I see the other reviews it looks like everyone has the same thing to say about it. To the owner on the laptop take some damn pride in your business and do something about it or give up and move on. PERIOD!!!!

    We came in as a party of 6. We had a reservation but arrived early to have a drink at the bar. It took close to 20 minutes to receive a drink. My husband asked if there was a bartender but were told in a rude way that they are extremely busy. We did get to our table at the time of our reservation. When we were walked to the dining area, they weren’t busy at all. Our waitress (Justina) was rude when we were ordering. When she brought our plates, she would throw the plates down and even almost spilled one of our drinks. All of our plates came at different times so none of us ate at the same time. It took forever to get drinks filled. I took a drink of my drink and felt something in my mouth and pulled a small peice of glass out of my mouth. We showed the waitress and she didn’t care and only offered to comp that drink and don’t offer me a new drink. We ordered more rolls but ended up canceling them because we sat for almost an hour waiting for them. Other tables were upset as well and we got up and left. As we were asking the bar why everything took so long and informed them we were upset, the owner sat right next to us on his laptop and didn’t even say a word. Complete disappointment and will never return.

    Steak and Sushi huh? Yes please! It was quite frankly amazing!! From the friendly staff to the melt in your mouth rib eye steak and all at a very reasonable price. If you are looking for a Japanese style surf and turf or just a great steak or sushi roll, you will not regret Himiko
