  Very nice place. Nice atmosphere and good music. I had the fried pork as my appetizer and the fried chicken as my meal. They were both very good. The chicken was very hot and crispy and the flavor was really good. The Mac and cheese was some white people mac and cheese but it was still really good and flavorful, the greens were really not good, they had no flavor to me. Really love the plating. The bar tenders could have checked on us more, our drinks were low for a really long time before I had to get their attention for another drink. Otherwise their service was good and they were nice. We had a really good experience but unfortunately my friend and I woke up with a really bad stomach ache and both ended up on the toilet the next morning🫠. They told us there was a 20 percent auto gratuity on the bill and I was surprised because I was only a party of 2. This just shows black people don’t tip and if they do it’s not good enough. I am in the industry so I still tipped on top of grat.

  All I can say is WOW! I absolutely loved my time at House 157. The atmosphere was incredible, the energy was just right, and Monique was truly a gem. 🤩💕 She was so sweet, so kind, and her vibe made the entire experience even better. The food? Unforgettable. The fish was my absolute favorite, and those crab cakes… out of this world. I wish I recorded everything because it was that good, but honestly, I was too busy enjoying myself. I had such an amazing time, and I’m so grateful for the experience. If you haven’t eaten at House 157 yet, you’re missing out go try it and thank me later! 😘

  This place is gorgeous inside, and the bartender is always fantastic. The food is full of flavor and beautifully presented. I live a few blocks away, and my boyfriend and I absolutely love coming here. As a vegetarian, they’ve customized meals for me, and they’ve done the same for my vegan daughter, they’re incredibly accommodating. The vibe is very chill. I do miss their Thursday karaoke nights, but everything else more than makes up for it. Oh and let’s not forever their delicious drinks.

  I had an amazing time! Kayla was so attentive and kind, she kept checking on our table, offering great recommendations, and making us feel truly welcome. I really appreciate excellent service and such a warm, friendly staff! I tried the Green Iguana Margarita and it was delicious! Crab cakes, steamed mussels, and chicken empanadas were delicious! Chef Williard did an incredible job, the food was full of flavor, and we even told the manager, Miguel, to give our compliments to the chef. I’m already planning my next visit! Miguel was also very kind and made a point to check on every table. The place has a wonderfully intimate vibe, cozy, warm, and beautifully decorated with plants and thoughtful design touches. I absolutely love the atmosphere.

  uch a beautiful, elevated restaurant experience! I discovered this place on Facebook, and it turned out to be even better than I expected. The service from Tiana was exceptional—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful in guiding me toward the perfect dishes based on what I was craving. My food arrived piping hot and faster than I imagined, and the flavors were absolutely outstanding. I left genuinely satisfied. If you enjoy world-fusion cuisine and a vibrant, feel-good atmosphere, this spot is a must-visit. I highly recommend it—and I’ll definitely be coming back again and again.
