Imani R. Was amazing ....so beautiful and just a sweet girl....she was amazing to have as a server. The food was outstanding....definitely top 5. I am a serious foodie, so trust me I am a tough critic. When I say perfection...from the start to finish. Drinks amazing and music was out of this world. I mean absolutely the most amazing place .....wow!!!

We brought our team here for an appreciation brunch, and everything was absolutely excellent — from the food to the service to the overall vibe. The hostess was outstanding from the moment we walked through the door and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The owner, Faith, was warm and attentive and truly set the tone for a beautiful experience. Our waitress was kind and on point, and the bartender was fantastic as well. You can feel the care and intention behind every detail. This was the perfect spot for celebrating our team, and we’ll definitely be back. -The Party Haven

This was my second time visiting House 157, and while the food was great, the service was truly unforgettable. I came with my family to celebrate a birthday, and our server Kimani made the entire night extraordinary. Her personality, warmth, and attention to detail were absolutely first-class. She went above and beyond at every moment and became the highlight of our dining experience. By the end of the night, everyone at our table was talking about how amazing she was. Because of Kimani, House 157 has officially become our go-to spot for any and every special occasion. She turned a great dinner into a memory we’ll never forget.

First I’ll like to say the aesthetics of the atmosphere BEAUTIFUL. For me, I truly enjoy experiencing black owned establishments. However, to walk in and only encounter and see just one African-American which was the hostess throughout my entire dining experience; very disheartening. Secondly, are there seasonings in the kitchen? I got the Cajun salmon, mashed potatoes and asparagus and babyyy that salmon was DRY, and unseasoned along with the rest of the food, and it was missing the beurre blanc sauce. The Jerk wings were too spicy to even eat! But baby that Calamari, the CALAMARI was very delicious. Lastly, pricing does not match quality of food; so I suggest having all chefs use same recipes, or have multiple chefs that have strong suits in each cuisine you offer to have more authentic tasting food.

Had a reservation for 130 and wasn’t seated until at least 145. Once seated our server came over and he was ok but I didn’t like that after he took our appetizer order he says ok the kitchen closes at 3 for our 4 o’clock dinner time and we need ALL our tables so basically I took it as ok kitchen closes at 3 so by the time I come back be ready to order which was bs because now you’re rushing me when u say me down 15 minutes late.. anyway I told everyone at my table so they can make sure to be ready to order. We ordered, we ate by and then sat and waited for someone to bring the check which don’t happen so my boss had to go ask for the check and they never even came back for the pay my boss had to again go over and give them the pay. So the wait staff isn’t attentive like other places.. oohhh and when we first were seated we couldn’t even hear each other talk cause the music was loud so my boss kindly asked hey can the music be lowered a bit and the server said this is the normal volume it’s always on so she asked again can u please try and eventually I did notice it was lowered a bit..
