  Crowded, small space, but I guess that's to be expected around the holidays. Wonderful selection. Expensive! But as we only come here once or twice a year, well worth it for the high quality chocolate.

  We will never shop at this location again. We drove 1 hour on 12/16 @ 6 pm to purchase a large quantity of chocolates for xmas gifts. The younger woman working there was nice and trying to be helpful, but the older woman was not. She was not friendly, and made it difficult for us. I relayed for mother worked at the Lindt Chocolate factory in Switzerland as the Secretary to the President of the Company. She was German, escaping the borders of East Berlin as a young girl. The woman working there had no reaction, and didn’t care. We needed two boxes (not bags) of chocolates. She wanted to charge us $6.00 per box, even though the younger girl had already quoted us $5.00 per box. When I asked if we could exchange the large box that came with the $64.99 offer to a small box, we were told “No”. Made no sense to us. Then, when we weighed the bags, she made us take 2 chocolates out as we were over the 75 limit per bag. That seemed petty to us as we spent $80 purchasing chocolates. We actually went home and counted each bag, and one bag had 74 chocolates, not 75. They did give us 5 extra chocolates for their version of the military discount (all stores there we purchased from offer 10% military discount as an outlet offer), but we appreciated the 5 extra chocolates. We had such a difficult time having a nice conversation or reasonable resolution to our request for two boxes, and being made to take 2 chocolates out of our bag, that we will not be back to this location for chocolates. Shameful after purchasing 3 bags of 225 chocolates.

  Discriminating to my wife and my friend to try out a ‘bark’ while it was being served to others while we bought a bunch and others didn’t. Disappointing! To quote the manager “we are not offering any trials TODAY!’

  If you have a nut allergy, I strongly advise avoiding this store. The staff showed a troubling level of carelessness in managing requests related to food allergies. Earlier today, I went to the store with my family. Before placing our order, I clearly informed the staff that my son has allergies to tree nuts and eggs. We took extra care to confirm that the ice cream we chose didn’t contain any of those ingredients. The staff member who took our order assured us that the ice cream didn’t contain any of those allergens. When she noted the order, she wrote no hazelnut drizzle topping. Then, a person who identified himself as the store manager failed to check the order properly and ended up adding hazelnut drizzle to my son’s ice cream despite the clear allergy warning and handed it to my son. I had specifically requested no drizzle on the ice cream, but when I saw it, I noticed a drizzle had been added. I asked whether it was hazelnut, and he confirmed that it was. Unfortunately, my son had already licked it by that point. I handed the ice cream back to him and asked whether he had reviewed the order before preparing it. He responded that he usually does but admitted he had made a mistake this time. That was a serious mistake. I had to rush him to the ER because of that. I am never going back to that store again.
