Krispy Krunchy Chicken® (KKC), founded in Louisiana in 1989, is a quick-serve solution for convenience stores, truck stops, universities, casinos, and big box retailers across the U.S. Every piece of our chicken and tenders is marinaded in a proprietary mix of mild but oh-so-flavorful spices, then double hand-breaded and fried to golden perfection. We serve it with the best sides around and most every order comes with a little bit of crowning glory – a freshly baked biscuit, generously drizzled with pure honey goodness.
$14.50 for 7 potato wedges a forgotten biscuit and 3 strips of, at least 5 hour old chicken. Won’t be returning. Cashier was nice though.

*My review is long as I like to let you know the whole experience, not just the food.*
Heard good things about this place. Always love to try new restaurants, especially chicken.
Went in at around 11:45 am. Walking up, I saw a warming cabinet, so I had a gut feeling that "fresh," which is what they advertise, isn't my meaning of fresh. My definition of fresh is that it is made to order.
At this restaurant, in my opinion, their definition of fresh means at 9:30 am, right before they open at 10:00 am, they fry everything and put it in a warming cabinet.
Ordered a 3 piece chicken tender deal that includes potato wedges (wedges for the rest of the review) that costs $5.99. I ask if it comes with a biscuit; it doesn't. The woman proceeds to tell me to get the Krispy box, I can't remember what it's called, but it's 3 chicken tenders, wedges, and a biscuit for $10.99. I see that a biscuit is $1.69 for one.
The $10.99 Krispy box gets you the following: 3 chicken tenders, potato wedges, and a biscuit.
For the $5.99 deal you get: 3 chicken tenders and wedges. Plus the $1.69 biscuit. Total: $7.68.
Needless to say, I went with the deal as did my friend. My friend also got the chicken sandwich.
Woman rings us up and after ~5 minutes, she finally gets the order right after she tells us to point at the menu and tell her how much it costs. She eventually gives us the receipt and it's wrong. My friend told her that she didn't charge us for the sandwich, so she starts over and provides us with a paper receipt which was correct.
My friend tries to pay as the woman has a register and Apple Pay right in front of her. Nope. Now we have to go to the Mobil register and pay.
Finally, we come back and our food is packed up. After 20-25 minutes there, we are on our way home.
Get home and start eating. Yeah...so...I take a bite of my honey biscuit and it is so dry I had to spit it out. It was rock hard and just crumbled in my mouth. I pulled it apart to see if the middle was soft. Spoiler alert: it wasn't.
Chicken fingers and the sandwich were dry as, like I said, they most likely made them before opening and the items had been in a warming cabinet.
Chicken sandwich is missing the sauce, so it was dry. The wedges were also dry and caked in spice.
I will admit that I am not good with spices. Medium salsa is my limit when it comes to spice. My friend can eat much spicier food than me. He said it was very spicy. Funny thing is that I asked the woman which item was the least spicy and she told me that the food is *mildly spicy.* If you have a low "spicy" tolerance, this is not the place to eat.
The restaurant is where the old Charley's used to be which is in the Mobil station across from McDonald's. The store is clean and the restaurant is clean, from what I could see. There is a good amount of parking.
Between one of the most frustrating service experiences and the horribly dry food, this restaurant is a waste of time and money. My friend and I agreed we would never eat there again.

Definitely going to stop on again. Food was great and portion was surprisingly big. Get the wedges and the biscuit is awesome.

This is surprisingly tasty for being in a gas station, didn't realize Krispy Krunchy was a chain until I saw a random Reddit post.
Their biscuits have to be the best I've had so far, out of all the fast food places.
