Tower 7 doesn't disappoint. The food is delicious from the fish tacos to the shrimp burgers. The service is always excellent and the staff is super friendly with the waterfront views over the ICW 2nd to none. We will be back soon.

Awesome experience at Tower 7. Everything was excellent from the food to our server, Brittany, who did a great job. I definitely recommend giving this a try.

Everything was perfect, even down to the chips and salsa. Our servers name was Brittany G, and she went above and beyond with our service today. We came in for a table for 4, and she got situated with us as soon as she can. Checking on us in the perfect times, she didn’t bother us at all. All in all, she’s the reason that I had such and amazing time here at Tower 7. Thank you Brittany, we will definitely be visiting this restaurant when back in town.

Greeted at the front door by Kathleena B who was absolutely none too happy to see us. It was a little after 11 am and the place was dead except for what appeared to be a "regular" at the end of the bar. Kathleena sat us - as if someone had a gun to her head lol. Unfortunately she was also our waitress. Yay us. Not. She never once smiled, or said anything positive. Simply took our order, brought us drinks and food, checked on us and delivered the check. Obviously she doesn't like her job nor did she care about her tip. I notoriously tip 30-50% (was a server for 14 years). It pained me to barely leave her 15%. The food was fine tho the rice was old (at 11am it should have been hot and fresh - it was neither) and the refried beans were tasteless. The black beans were good. Smash burger and cheesesteak crisp was fine, but overdosed in cheese. We LOVE Tower 7 in Wrightsville and the servers there have been awesome for years so we assumed Morehead would be just as great. What Morehead has over Wrightsville is location location location - ON the water. Oh! A mom and her kids asked to sit outside (we were offered to sit outside by Kathleena as well). Kathleena sat them out there begrudgingly and when Mom asked for a high chair Kathleena turned around towards us and rolled her eyes at the request. Hopefully Kathleen was just having a very bad day and it was a one time thing. But her deadpan attitude set the tone for our meal.

A long overdue review for our pals at Tower 7 in Morehead City—ever since they joined the waterfront, they’ve become one of our go-to favorites. It’s perfect for a quick lunch or for settling in for a happy hour that effortlessly turns into dinner.
Whether you’re seated at the bar, inside, or outside watching the waterway, Tower 7 consistently delivers personable service and great value for the quality of food you get. My personal favorite order is the Poor Surfer with chips and queso, paired with a Don Julio Blanco Ranch Water—hard to beat.
Most recently, I stopped in for a late working lunch after spending several hours getting a property ready for guests and still had a lot of computer work to tackle (shoutout for the free Wi-Fi!). Kristina at the bar kept me hydrated, fueled, and made sure the end of my day was smooth sailing.
Thanks to Kristina and the entire T7 team—we love y’all and are always happy to be back.
