The only gripe I have is that some of the dishes are too salty for my taste, especially the fried chicken and the smashed fried potatoes. Gumbo (especially the seafood iteration), succotash and citrus slaw are excellent. The muffuletta is fantastic and easily two meals on a bun.

The food is incredible, the staff is lovely, and the owner is friendly and clearly treats his staff right. Our dinner tonight was stupid good. One of the specials was shrimp creole and it‘s the best I’ve ever had. The brisket and gumbo are both excellent. We‘re so lucky to have such great authentic Louisiana cuisine in Durham.
