- AAARDec 3, 20255.0Luke and the team in Charlotte absolutely made our Thanksgiving. I called the store looking for a dazzler for the holiday. No Turkey for our family, it’s not our thing. We had eaten Porchetta before, but I had not made one. Luke explained the product, process and I ordered it. I’m afraid to admit that when I picked it up I was afraid I wouldn’t do a good job, maybe it wasn’t the showstopper I was hoping for I was nervous The team vacuum sealed it for me and away I went. I followed Luke’s instructions and roasted it to perfection. The outer crispy skin was the icing on the cake. The beautiful, moist meat in the center with herbs was perfect. Not at all because of how it was cooked but simply because of how they’d made it! No one talked at dinner, lots of oohs and ahhs, no pictures taken. The sandwiches made the days following were even better than my Thanksgiving meal. How special, how perfect! Thank you, thank you! I can’t wait to make it again. Do yourself a favor, order one of these beauties in advance!
