The pasta arrived less al dente and more lost at sea. If this was linguini, it was linguini in witness protection… submerged in so much liquid it should’ve come with a lifeguard and a whistle.
The salad…. Brown lettuce that looked like it had seen some things and didn’t care to talk about them.
Now here’s the real punchline: one soup water pasta and one exhausted salad came to nearly $100. For that price, I got soggy noodles and produce that had clearly given up on life.
If this is Italian dining, then I’m Sophia Petrillo ready for Shady Pines itself.

Disgusting. Shame on them for charging $28 for a pasta plate. DISGUSTING. STAY AWAY. You think you’re ordering nice cuisine…. You’re not. It’s water soup. I will fight this cried card charge

This experience was extremely disappointing and not as advertised. We expected a nice dinner that was so far from what we received. First, the wait was horrible. We had reservations and we were seated late. The atmosphere was awkward and loud. We waited for almost 3 hours for our food. We weren’t provided utensils and the appetizers were bland and stale. We paid a dumb amount of money for the appetizers. We never even got a full meal. The fact that we are putting energy into this review is honestly disheartening, but we have to warn people to not waste their money.

This is an interesting place. Located in a mall. We arrived and the restaurant was packed. Yet during our meal the place cleared out fast and we practically closed the place down. I had the chicken Parm,. It was fine. Not particularly memorable. Our server was old school. A bit of a character, which we liked. I cannot say I'd rush back but we enjoyed our meal at Bartolinos.
