  We went to McDonalds today because my daughter saw advertisements for the Kpop Demon Hunters happy meal toy. After waiting in a very lengthy line (despite it being mid-afternoon and not a peak time) we got to the pay window and, after paying, noticed a sign taped to the window that indicated they were sold out of demon hunter toys; but the child would receive a saja boys toy. My daughter was obviously disappointed, but rallied and stated that "they're part of the movie so it's ok." However, when we received our order the toy was actual Super Mario Brothers. Given the above, I asked the older woman working the delivery window if she knew when the demon hunter toys might be back in stock so we could come back. She blew me off and said 'don't know' with a dismissive shrug. I then suggested that, while a sign was helpful, they might want to consider putting up a sign up at the front of the drive through, so the customer can make an educated decision on if they want to wait in line and spend the money for a meal just to have a disappointed kid. The employee sarcastically informed me that she had no control of the sign and I should 'call corporate' if I had a complaint. I said I understood it wasn't her who put up the signs, but maybe she could mention it to a manager. In a very short tone of voice, she responded that they were 'short staffed' and didn't have a manager on duty. At that point - frustrated not with the lack of toy (because things happen) - but with the complete and total lack of anything remotely resembling professionalism or customer service, I told her that I didn't believe there was no manager on duty. The employee then informed me that they 'have a long line,' tried to shut the window in my face while I was speaking, and started to walk away. However, right as she did so, a manager walked around the corner. So, instead, the employee loudly exclaimed 'you can deal with her!' threw a hand back at my car, and kept walking. Although the manager was more professional, she offered no apology for either the incorrect advertising or truly atrocious customer service. Rather, she just stated that she had a sign up and the wind must have blown it off. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this McDonalds. At the end of the day, what plastic toy my kid gets isn't important - but what does matter is being treated with even the minimal amount of courtesy.... and, for that, it appears that we'll need to drive to Waynesville or Rolla.

  Cheers to the new K-Pop meal collaboration that you guys got! Oh, oops. We wasnt really rockin out with what we got. The band already left shop so when we arrived, we didn't get all thats advertised. I get it, busy day, you're gonna run out of supplies. I also work in the food industry but this is before dinner time, so supply should be in demand. Especially knowing how big this is, for the younger generation . We got the meal. We got chicken nuggets and fries with BBQ sauce. No special fry seasoning. No KPOP sauces. We got our daughter hyped, she the biggest KPOP fan and she could identify that it was BBQ sauce and the saddest part is she's 4. My girl tried to get the KPOP flurry and of course at this time THE ICE CREAM MACHINE IS "Broke" we all know the true meaning behind that. Quit being lazy. Clean your machine and have the appropriate supplies for demands. Shame on you. Do better , that way your not a disappointment to other kids around town.

  As an Uber eats delivery driver this is the absolute worse McDonald's I've ever picked up from. I've driven Uber in California and Texas and this McDonald's is still the absolute worst. Their customer service is nonexistent and the manager will ban you for trying to speak up.

  I understand McDonald’s isn’t supposed to be a 5-star restaurant, but this is by far the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. The service is terrible, the food is almost always cold and tastes old, and the wait times are ridiculously long. On top of that, they mess up the order almost every time. Wrong drinks or missing food. The Waynesville McDonald’s is much better, so I recommend going there if you want to get your moneys worth. I used to work at two McDonald’s, and I don’t ever remember it being run this poorly.

  Absolutely terrible experience there this morning. I ordered my food, paid and was told to pull forward to the side. Cool no big deal. But I had a smoothie I ordered for someone else which I got at the window. I proceeded to wait 20 minutes for my food as everyone else ahead of me and behind me got their food. Once I finally received my food after the girl told me she’d go look for it, it was not only cold but they didn’t give me some of my food. I went inside and the manager who was a bigger male, was rude to me and said he was only going to give me the hash brown didn’t apologize or anything he was rude and told me to “take your negative self somewhere else” . Now I have cold food and a warm smoothie. I never go to McDonalds and this just officially stomped out my pregnancy cravings and will not be going here ever again.
