Excellent food and service!!! We were there on New Year’s Eve and it was crowded with a noise level higher than normal, but all our other visits have been what’s expected in an open setting restaurant.

The food was decent, but the portions were small for the price. We both got a different chicken dish and found them to be lackluster. The atmosphere was loud as if it is a sports bar. The bar appears to be the central focus of the restaurant. Nothing about the experience was bad, it just wasn't good.

Overpriced, mediocre “St. Louis” style Italian food. Each pasta dish is a big portion but pasta is not freshly made and dish is mostly pasta. Pasta is cheap. Everything is overly sauced or overly cheesed. Ordered sirloin steak and it was tough cut for $57! The best part of the meal is probably the bread. Service is friendly but staff are all a bit awkward. Restaurant vibe is nice though. You can tell they put a lot of money into it.

Went there for New Year’s Eve. Our table of 4 was placed in a room between two parties of 14. The room had a low ceiling and the noise level was horrible. Could not talk to the person across from me. Food was good, tasted a lot Billie G’s. And I had to pay over 100.00 per person for a really bad experience. Will not return

I really don't understand all the hype about this restaurant, or the sister one in SoCo or on Hampton. Tried the new Twin Oaks location 2 days before Christmas. Gorgeous interior but they need to get baffles on the ceiling as the noise level was ridiculously high. Arrived at 5:15 and by 7:00 just about every table was filled, including the bar which is beautiful with plenty of seating. There are various sections of the restaurant and we were escorted to a back room with 3 other 4-tops and 2 big party tables that seat 8-10 people each. Once that filled up, the 4 of us could not hear each other & we aren't old!
Regarding the food: the waitress really sold us on how "special" the Beef Spedini is which is not on their permanent menu -- she extolled the deliciousness and FOMO if we didn't order this since 2 of us were considering the chicken spedini. The chicken spedini was $28 so I ASSUMED the beef would be only slightly higher and shame on us for not asking. It was a whopping $51 and definitely not worth it. Mine was mealy, had grissly parts in it, and not much charbroil. It lacked that distinctive lemon/butter flavor too.The Caesar Salad dressing was bland. I began to wonder if everything is US FOOD SERVICE and nothing authentic about this once fine Italian eatery. Even the balsamic and olive oil brought with our bread was lackluster. The carrots that were brought as a side were on a ricotta sauce that tasted strange with the carrots and not complementary flavors at all. They did nothing for each other.
I wouldn't consider this fine dining but our final bill sure indicated they think so. None of us said, WOW, this is sooo good. It's not the kind of meal where you can't wait to go back and order it again. That's the mark of a great restaurant. They've missed the mark sadly.
Just one person's opinion. By the looks of the place, people settle for mediocre food and high prices.
