I had heard the owner, Steve Ewing (famous locally from the band The Urge) on KMOX, talking about his restaurant and I love hot dogs, so I had wanted to go for a while. I had the opportunity today so I went, while I was in Chesterfield. There was only one person at the counter and a group of eight went in the door, just ahead of me. It took about 30 minutes to order. The atmosphere was cool, with STL decor in the windows. It's nice and it's clean. The food was disappointing. Approximately $14 for a hot dog and soda. Yes, if you're going to rent in The District (a revamped outlet mall made much better now) it can't be cheap, but not worth the prices. I had a chili dog and the chili was bland and dry, as was the bun that the counter person recommended for "lots of toppings." Overall, it was a bad experience and next time I'm there, I'll try The Hi-Pointe instead.
