WOW!!! The food and service were GREAT!!! My girlfriend and I are from Duluth and wish we had a place as good as this in Duluth. Next time we go to the cities we will be going back to this TERRIFIC place.

Nov 10, 2025. About 9pm. We ordered a bunch of stuff for dine in and takeout. Man-chow soup: horrible. No taste, not fresh. Plus it arrived after the main course. You’ve got to be kidding me. Saag plate tasteless Masala dosa had weird crumbs inside. Mushroom dish, store made butter chicken sauce with sautéed vegetables is NOT HOW YOU COOK. Service is pathetic. I would not recommend this to anyone. Owners: please see how your team is working

I was at the restaurant recently with an Indian friend of mine. I arrived first and was shown to the table by a short, bald waiter who did not have the courtesy to even greet me. He brought two glasses out and proceeded to pour water into each, spilling some on the table without even saying sorry or wiping the mess he'd made. After my friend arrived, I noticed he was rude to him twice. First, when he asked for some condiments, he told him to wait and ask when the food came out. Second, when my friend asked why our food hadn't come out after 30 minutes, he snapped at him that the chef had to prepare the meals first! We were both surprised by his attitude. So, while the food was delicious, the management clearly needs to take some action, or they'll leave their customers flummoxed. It would be a pity to see them lose customers because of one individual who is clearly an unhappy character that shouldn't be in the hospitality business without proper training. We both enjoyed the food but left with a bad taste because of the waiter.

have only tried the paneer tikka masala, vada pav, and the garlic naan. the tikka masala, rice, and naan were all good. on par with the other good indian spots in the metro. would highly recommend. the vada pav was so good i can't believe it. tamarind chutney was fine and the mint chutney was out of this world. a little more chili garlic chutney on the sliders might be nice but 5 stars for sure. i got take out but the spot was very nice and clean with plenty of seating in the dining room. looks nicer than the strip mall might imply. i would add that it did take about 15 min longer than the 30 min estimate for pick up. there isn't much room for people waiting just one very nice small bench. one thing that stood out was the menu. it is glorious. so many unique options you don't see much in the suburban metro indian restaurants. which makes it a guarantee i'll be back to try more.

Fantastic food, quick service. They always have customers but they're a little out of the way and I worry for their overall success...please give them a try!! One thing I appreciate about this restaurant is they never get our takeout order wrong. It seems like that would be the bare minimum but we ALWAYS have missing or incorrect food and Clay Oven never gets our order wrong.
