  It has literally been decades since I've had pizza paralysis. This meal reminded me how much better their pizza is and how their pizza is like none other! If your looking for detroit style perfection, pizzapapalis is the spot!

  I love Pizza Papalis from any chain!! For my 44th bday I decided to celebrate with friends and family In Taylor. We all know that with 20 or more guests, it’s best to put the orders in all at once because it’s a 45 to 50min wait that’s usually worth every sec. So as the waitress brings out our pizza’s as the host, I’m checking around making sure everyone is enjoying themselves. I noticed one couple’s pizza had not came yet. So finally the waitress comes and tells her that her pizza was accidentally dropped!! So I’m assuming that she was gonna just cancel the pizza and take it off the check. So while everyone is eating their pizza, she’s left with people offering her pizza trying to accommodate her after waiting 45mins to get her pizza dropped. Because she had certain food restrictions, she couldn’t eat everyone’s pizza. So later when everyone is done eating and we are packing up, I noticed her pizza comes at the end when we are all leaving. So I said she took care of you right?! She said no they charged me full price!!! Mind you I’m taking pictures with family laughing enjoying my guest I assumed her and husband had it handled so I didn’t push the issue until after she already paid and I asked did they take that pizza off or give you a discount she said no!! So I pulled the waitress to the side politely and asked her what happened?? She said “yeah I felt so bad and my manger wasn’t willing to do anything” no you didn’t want that gratuity to fall off!! I can’t say I’ll be back to this location after that!!

  The food was fantastic — we tried both the Detroit and Chicago-style pizzas along with a few appetizers, and everything was delicious. But what really stood out was the service! Our waitress, Emily, was outstanding and took such great care of us. I’d give her a 10-star rating if I could!

  My partner and I have had the pleasure of sitting in Jessica’s section several Friday nights, and she continues to impress us every time. Jessica is the definition of professional organized, attentive, and always composed even during the busiest hours. What sets her apart is her warm personality and great sense of humor, which instantly makes guests feel comfortable and welcomed. She clearly works well with her team, stepping in to assist others while keeping her own section running smoothly. Her positive energy and teamwork create a wonderful atmosphere that makes each dining experience enjoyable. We always look forward to seeing Jessica and appreciate her consistency, kindness, and dedication to excellent service.

  I walked in with the idea to get a Detroit style pizza. They offered both Detroit style and Chicago deep dish. It was pretty quick to get my pizza and it was delicious. If I'm staying in the area I would go back again. The Detroit style was definitely more than enough for one person. It probably could have fed two to three. I did the build your own option because I wanted some veggies and meats on it. But overall it was a great experience. Fast service. The wine selection could be a little better.
