Love this place. Huge fan of the grilled vermicelli. The actual pho soups are excellent portions and delicious!

Without a doubt, What the Phở serves the BEST pho I have ever had! The broth was incredibly savory without being too rich or greasy, with the perfect noodle-to-broth ratio. The homemade sriracha that was on the table was beyond delicious, super garlicy without being overwhelming spicy. I'm normally a weakling when it comes to spice level but I LOADED my pho up with sriracha, which just added the perfect bit of kick.
My Thai iced tea (made with real cream) was a great extra treat, it was so good I almost didn't want to share it with my husband.
Yum to the upmost!

This restaurant used to be a great Pho spot I even recommended it to family and friends. Unfortunately, the experience has gone downhill. The service is rude and unwelcoming, and the tables are often dirty. The staff behaves as if customers owe them high-end tips despite offering poor service.
Even more concerning, the owner openly complains about customers not tipping instead of paying his employees fair wages. I’ve also noticed that Black customers seem to receive worse treatment and are sometimes charged additional “service fees” that range from 18–20%. It raises serious concerns about discrimination and fairness.
The bathrooms are filthy, the service is filthy, and honestly, the whole environment feels unhygienic and disrespectful. Choose another restaurant one that values all customers and maintains a clean, welcoming space.
If you’re craving Pho, save your money and make it at home. You’ll get a cleaner, kinder experience for less.

Fiancé and I have never tried pho before, so we visited What the Pho, and the food was really good! I definitely recommend it. The place is somewhat small, but it’s got a comfy, cozy atmosphere and isn’t very loud at all. The waitress was very nice and accommodating.
There was an incident that happened where there was a one-car crash, and the waitress did not hesitate to run outside to see what happened and help until the ambulance and cops showed up. I find that very admirable. We will definitely be coming back to this place. Best first experience, worth giving it a try if you’ve never had pho before!
