Had a great time at this location with some friends. Wide open space in plenty of room for many guests. Plus at every table, there’s enough room to not be sitting directly on top of those you are with. Food selection is impressive with a wide variety. Prices are exactly where they should be. If not cheaper for the quality of food and amount of food that you receive with each order. Definitely recommend.

We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but our visit ended up being pretty disappointing for a couple of reasons. First issue: the waitlist system. We joined the online waitlist, which showed a 10–20 minute wait. A few minutes later we got a text saying they were busier than expected and to confirm if we wanted to stay on the waitlist—which we did. The timer counted down normally, and when it said we were second in line, we headed inside. At that point, it showed us as first in line, but we watched multiple groups get seated ahead of us. When we finally asked, we were told we were supposed to check in at the hostess stand at the moment we joined the waitlist… something that was never mentioned anywhere. After that conversation, they seated us—one hour after we originally joined the list. Oddly enough, a few minutes after we were already at the table, we got a text saying our table was ready, and then another text later saying we were removed from the waitlist. The whole system felt very unorganized. Second issue: the food. My first choice, the breakfast lasagna, was out. No big deal—so I ordered the Southwest Eggs Benedict with sweet potato fries. A few minutes later, the waitress came back to let me know they were out of sweet potato fries too. I switched to tater tots. Our food arrived shortly after, but the tater tots were completely frozen inside. They took them off the plate, and then I realized my Eggs Benedict were cold as well. Those ended up being taken back to be microwaved. Not exactly the experience you hope for when eating out, especially when their sign says “Voted best breakfast in Michigan” The staff was polite, but between the inaccurate waitlist system, multiple menu items being unavailable, and food coming out cold/frozen, the visit missed the mark for us. I’m hoping it was just an off day, but it definitely wasn’t a great first impression.

The restaurants is clean and well maintained. The food was pretty good, but the portions are very small for what you pay. My girlfriend got 2 eggs with her meal. One egg was extra small, and the other was possibly a quail egg with how small it was. We were seated immediately, but our server didn't arrive at our table for at least 15 minutes. We started with coffee, waters, and monkey bread. The monkey bread was phenomenal. The lunch rush had died, but our server was nowhere to be seen for awhile. I got one refill on my coffee and zero refills on my water. Having worked in the food industry myself. One would expect solid service when paying so much for food. Unfortunately the service we received was subpar at best.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. The decor and atmosphere were nice.. and the waitress was very friendly. I enjoyed the large coffee cups so the staff doesnt have to refill your cup that often. I ordered an omelet with a side of house fries. It wasn't what I expected. The omelet was as thick as a pancake so when you cut it, everything inside the omlet fell out and you had to eat the egg and the filling separate. The house fries were soo overcooked and 1/2 of the order was just burnt potatoes and not eatable. My friend had told me how much I would enjoy this place but after we received our orders and he saw my fries he apologized and admitted we should have went somewhere else.

If you have ever been to an Anna’s House in the past, don’t eat here. Leave your good memory alive and remember this place as it once was. I’m aware that everything has taken a dramatic slide downwards this past year but Anna’s is screaming full throttle into the sewer. The reason this place has plenty of parking and no wait times is clear. It’s garbage. It’s NOTHING like the Grand Rapids location. Eating here was such a disappointment I won’t even go back to the original location for fear of PTSD. The food was JUST awful and the prices are high, really high for what you get. $8 for a juice, $15 for the worse sausage and eggs I’ve ever ate. My lady had $15 French Toast that could have been from any mens shelter warming table. The protein portions on our plates were almost nonexistent. The bacon was more translucent than it was solid, which was actually good because it wasn’t fresh. My sausage hadn’t turned yet but it wasn’t real either. I’m not sure what it was. The coffee (that they charged me extra for) was ok. Plenty of room in this place because the smart people don’t eat here. It’s quiet if you’re not complaining too loud. There is absolutely no line up at any time, that is for sure. There is no wait time for the food because it was already made and returned from whoever was just there before you. I was told this location was a former Big Boy. If that isn’t proof enough that things are worse now than ever before, I don’t know what is. The Elias brothers would have never believed that this is was going to replace them. I’m shocked myself. A race to the bottom is no race for me. Congrats Anna, you’ve reached the finish line. 🏁🗑️
