Have you seen “The Bear” and wish you could have a bit of that experience (Minus the screaming and disfunction) in Maine? This is the spot. Frankly, I could care less about food. However, our meal on Thursday was so good that I am sitting here writing this review on Saturday. My wife and I have dined at Pomelia twice and both times were exceptional. The first time we experienced their regular menu with Josh as our waiter. The food was incredible and Josh was cool as hell. I was for sure going to return. Last Thursday my wife made reservations a second time for there harvest/local/farm to whatever…I am not a gourmet and didn’t really pay attention. Anyway it was a set (chaos?) menu… It blew us away, truly amazing. I wish I knew more about food so I could put to words what was happening in my mouth. The first course was some dish that I am not sure how to describe (My wife said it was a Hot Honey Zucca)…I am still thinking about it. Karie was our waitress and she was pretty darn cool as well. We left full, smiling and looking forward to our next visit. Again, the good was so good I am writing this review…instead of doing basically anything else right now. Now that is a good dining experience.

I mean genuinely one of the best new restaurants in the midcoast area. Some of the best service we’ve ever received, amazing food, a must must go. It’ll be your new favorite.

One of the finer dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! The meatballs were an excellent starter, we had drinks (I recommend the Negroni) and our server was fantastic. I feel terrible not remembering his name. Our pasta was well cooked, both the Marsala porcini and the spicy sausage ragout were full of flavor. We will be back!

Haven’t had this kind of hospitality at a restaurant since The Kennedy in Knoxville, Tennessee this summer! 5 ⭐️ (IYKYK) The food came out piping hot and everything we got was perfection. The waitress and hostess were so attentive, yet not annoying. Our waters were always full! Highly recommend. A wonderful addition to Brunswick.

We took advantage of Pomelia’s midweek takeout special and had another fabulous meal - easy to order, awaiting us at the appointed time, beautifully packaged - hots & colds well separated. As advertised, it was plenty for three and adequate for four. With only two of us, as hungry as we were, we consumed all four generously-sized appetizer meatballs, but saved half the porcini pasta, almost half the fennel salad, and two of the four mini cannoli for a second meal. We did eat all the [warm] focaccia but how could we resist given the delicious meatball and pasta sauces that needed sopping-up? A magnificent rainbow greeted us when we picked up our food. We took it as a good sign. And we were right!
