- ACAllison CheekDec 24, 20251.0This is an overall review of Pizza Hut based on an experience I had today. I placed an order through the app and realized immediately after submitting it that it was set for pickup instead of delivery. I called the Waldorf store right away to either cancel the order or change it to delivery. The automated system instructed me to press 1 to order or modify an existing order, which I did. I explained the issue to the first person, who then placed me on hold. When the next person answered, I had to explain the situation all over again. This cycle repeated about five times. At that point, I realized I wasn’t speaking to the store at all but to a call center. When the sixth person answered, I explained that I had already spoken to multiple people and was simply trying to reach the store. They hung up on me. By then, I had been on the phone for about 15 minutes. I called back and experienced the same issues again. Several representatives either claimed they couldn’t hear me and transferred me, or hung up when I asked questions or requested their name. After calling back multiple times, I finally spoke with a woman who actually engaged with me. She took my information and said someone would cancel my order. When I asked how I would know the cancellation was completed, she said someone would call me, which didn’t make sense. In the end, I had to go to the store and pick up the order myself, which I was trying to avoid because I’m sick. The entire experience was extremely frustrating, and it honestly makes me feel done with Pizza Hut.
