The broth was aromatic and flavorful, the beef tender and delicious. Can't wait to come back.

Some of the dumplings tasted frozen and reheated rather than fresh, but the soup dumplings were WONDERFUL. Also, the rice bowl with meat was surprisingly good. The scallion pancakes were light and not too greasy. The prices are reasonable, and I feel like the quality was commensurate to the price charged. I wouldn't compare this to a more traditional restaurant insofar as quality, but again, as a quick, casual meal Dumpling District surpasses expectations. The decor is cute and I appreciate that the tables aren't too crowded together. One small note is that they were a bit stingy in providing napkins, for whatever reason. We will return.
