  So i ordered idli sambhar last night via uber eats for pickup. Specifying since the owner likes to verify for bad reviews but not for good reviews. The good thing : the idli was piping hot. good fresh steamed idli. The sambhar was surprisingly good. The real bad : The chutney that came with it was downright disgusting. I don't know what that was supposed to be, peanut, coconut. i could not tell but it was full of cumin. I guess it was just cumin chutney haha. It was SO bad i had to throw it away. I was actually hopeful that after all these years they would have course corrected but sadly not the case. Still upgrading my original rating to 2 stars from 1.

  Great place to try if you're craving South Indian food. They also have lunch and dinner buffet with live dosa counter.

  Me and my sister had an amazing dinner! Thank you Ganesh!!!! 5 stars without hesitation. Ganesh the owner and our host made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we walked in. We had a great time and such a nice conversation with Ganesh which made the experience even more special. The mango lassi is hands down the best in the DMV creamy perfectly sweet and so refreshing. The samosas were hot crispy and so yummy. We ordered the signature chicken tikka masala and butter chicken and both were rich comforting and full of flavor with tender chicken and amazing sauces you want to finish to the last bite. Ganesh recommended a dish with cashew sauce dish, we forgot the name but boy oh boy it did not disappoint!!!!!! Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared and the portions were VERY generous. This is more than just a meal it is an experience. Come here and truly experience the culture through the food and the hospitality.

  We went for a 'candle-lit' Christmas dinner. When we arrived, we found that there were no candles, we were the only ones, and there was no food in the buffet trays. After a couple of minutes, the vegetarian food was prepared (all appetizers), and we assumed that the rest of the food would be coming soon. However, these never came. The main reason that we came was for the dosas, so we were surprised to see that there was nobody making them. The chef responsible for making the dosas left repeatedly to go do other things instead of serving us (the only people in the restaurant). We were very disappointed with our experience.

  We like the quality of food. The biryanis have good taste and they are not oily. The food is good just like home. Minimum oil and masala and easy to eat and digest. Each item is having a unique and different taste as we tasted a lot of dishes like Rayalaseema Royyalu Kura (Shrimp Curry) was cooked very good and was different from Madurai Mutton Kolambu so each item is cooked professionaly. We also enjoyed Nattu Kodi Chettinad, country chicken which is our favourite and also we think the Bucket Biryani Lamb was good quantity and tasty and we also liked the south Indian food like Dosa's, Idli, Sambhar, Uttapam etc. Overall we enjoyed every item for the orders we placed and arrived on time. The home delivery system is very suitable for us and also we appreciate the holiday discount offered by Kaveri. They have some unique dishes like Naatu Kodi Kura With Raagi Sankati. So overall it was a very enjoyable experience having food from Kaveri, hope they maintain the same standards in future for the existing price. We requested every dish to be Mildly spicy (Chilly) and they took care of our request. Most restaurants are not able to cater to the latter no matter how much you want the dish to. be less chilly they make it the way they want. Dishes are reasonable priced and quantity is fair enough. I would recommend this restaurant who enjoys Bhartiyan food.
