Got P3. Felt like there was very little meat, and the Pho itself wasn’t the best. Spring rolls were ok.

Additional comments after restaurant owner replied: I appreciate the owner’s reply but I want to let the owner know, that so-called “signage” is not enough for every customer to know about the surcharge. I ordered takeout, walked in the restaurant directly to the cashier, my eyes were in contact with staff only and where she showed me the “final amount”. When I saw the surcharge on my receipt, I asked the female staff “this place charges a credit card fee? I wish you could have mentioned to me so I can pay with my debit card”. Guess what the female staff replied? She said “oh I’m so sorry” with the most fake “sorry face” I have ever seen. There was no offering of “resolving” the issue at all. So I just left the place. The “signage” is not enough, because customers who are just picking up a takeout, expect to just pay and leave. No one would linger around the register and be able to see it. You need to add this warning to your cashier screen, where customer will be looking at when they see the amount to pay and before agreeing to pay for it. If your payment system cannot display a warning message about the fee, at least train your staff to mention it to the customer, before they pay.
Warning: this restaurant charges a "3% credit card surcharge" without getting consent from customers.
When I picked up my takeout order at the restaurant cashier, I was shown the final amount to pay: $97.52. This amount was shown on their cashier register screen by the restaurant staff. She said to me "this is the amount you need to pay". There was no mentioning of any “credit card surcharge” by the restaurant staff at all and no asking if I consent to pay this surcharge or I'd rather pay with cash or debit cards. Without knowing about the surcharge, I tapped my credit card and chose to give a $2 tip and signed on the iPad screen. I expected the total to be $99.52, but the receipt came out as $102.45, because the restaurant system automatically added a 3% credit card surcharge without my consent, and this surcharge was even added before tax so tax amount was also increased. I was never asked if I am willing to pay a credit card surcharge or if I prefer to pay with a debit card or cash. The restaurant should be responsible for credit card fees, not customers. This is a scam and i absolutely will not accept it. It is illegal if you charge a credit card surcharge without getting customer’s consent first. I have already disputed the surcharge with Chase and got the credit right away (not temporary credit, but the final credit). Although it is only $2.76, this shows the integrity of the restaurant and its staff. I will never order from this restaurant again and will not recommend to anyone. Wonder if the restaurant owner believes it is worth losing customers who are willing to spend $100 to buy your food over $2 credit card surcharge.

Pretty good Bahn mi's. Not the best not the worst. I'd try and add more pate and make the bread a little harder

Had the chicken pho. The chicken was dry, bland, and not fresh. I picked it all out of my pho and didn’t eat it. The rest of the broth and noodles was okay. My friend had vegetable fried rice and Thai iced tea. Both of those were fine. Overall mediocre and I would not go again.
