I have ordered from this restaurant several times through their app and by phone, but there’s almost always been an issue with the food. On one occasion, the Kabab Torsh was so tough and unpleasant to chew that I had to call for a refund on that portion. Today, I ordered koobideh kabab and chicken, two of the most beloved dishes in Persian cuisine, but once again, the koobideh was dry and lacked the juiciness expected of authentic Persian kababs. The rice was poorly prepared, and the saffron flavor tasted artificial. Even the chicken skewer appeared unnaturally yellow, seemingly trying to mimic saffron color without using the real ingredient. It seems the restaurant either lacks a skilled Persian chef or a proper understanding of Iranian cooking. Overall, this place does not reflect authentic Persian flavors. Be cautious if you’re looking for true Iranian cuisine.

Wow what a beautiful location! My family and I were waiting for months to see this location open since we always dined at their Columbia location. The atmosphere and decoration inside are just beautiful. We ordered various things including the fesenjoon , and gheymeh stew, koobideh, chicken, barg, joojeh wings, chicken wrap, and various appetizers - pickled cabbage, salad shirazi, baba ghanoush, masto musir, roasted pepper hummus , and mirza ghasemi. Everything was just like back home! Keep up the amazing service Sanaz, Raymond, and team!

Oh my goodness- we just had the most flavorful, filling, wonderful dinner here with friends! Such big portions and great for sharing and making your own combinations of meats, sauces, rice, etc. Every single thing we ate was 10/10 and the service was amazing- so attentive, kind, and friendly. Seriously, what a gem of a place! I didn’t even take pictures of the food because I was too busy happily eating!
This location west of OEC on Frederick Road just opened in November, so we thought we'd give it a try. We're glad we did. It's way more than just another kabob joint. Everything was really tasty! Their Baba Ghanoush was legit, the chicken kabob entree was very good and a generous portion. I tried the Sosi Bandari served on lavash bread and it might be my new favorite sandwich. It's like a Persian version of currywurst, but better. It can be made spicy, but mine was just right, with just a little bit of spice, but lots of flavor. The restaurant has a walk-up counter for takeout, but also plenty of seating for table service. Raha, who was working the counter and serving us at our table, was super friendly and attentive. We will be back to try other Persian dishes.
The lamb was very tough and the filet was dry. Bread did not taste like it was made in-house. The portion size was okay but not enough to justify the price, especially given that the meat was not great. Our favorite thing in the meal was the grilled veggies, which were actually fantastic. Overall, nowhere near the quality I'd expect for the price ($34 for one person's serving of chicken and dry as a bone filet). Had to get it once to see. Now that I know, I'd save my money.
