  the waiter I had was Randy , very informative and welcoming .. super funny and appealing to speak to ! He made my experience much much better , the cook tonight happened to be a gentleman named Richard and everything he cooked was exemplary ! From the Korean fried chicken , calamari , and seafood Alfredo it was perfection

  Phenomenal SERVICE and Atmosphere. However, the food did not hit the mark. Steak frites where meh , good flavor but the beef was way too chewy (for wagyu) . The bisque was good but SALTY, the Caesar salad had a great first taste but not depth of flavor, and as much as I love the concept of the croutons they had No seasoning whatsoever. Will come back for thr oysters and desserts.

  I ordered the seafood Alfredo and it was such a disappointment. It reminded me of a frozen meal from a grocery store. The crab cake was decent. I was expecting a roll or something with it. I can't stress enough how underwhelmed and disappointing the Alfredo was. I was so hungry for pasta that I ate it! But I didn't enjoy it unfortunately.

  Just after Bill McCormick and Doug Schmick sold the restaurant chain, we had ate at the Quincy market Massachusetts unit during a veterans Day dine out. It was unfortunate experience because they were understaffed and the food came out late and was awful. We left for the bad taste in her mouth. So we arrived at the Pier 5 hotel late in the afternoon and there are two choices in the hotel, Ruth, Kris, and Oklahoma and Schmitt and we decided that we would give M&S another chance. We had a wonderful experience in food service and wonderful atmosphere as well. The local plump oysters were terrific and we split the raw tuna special and the decedently, delicious upside down apple pie was a showstopper! Only one disappointment, no cocktail onions for my Gibson cocktail before our dinner. So I had to drive there instead. . 😎

  I’ve ate here plenty of times and had a very interesting server 10/12 this past Sunday…thank god for Jennifer at the front desk and the manager that did make the situation better but I was sitting for at least 10 maybe more minutes and no one came to the table. I had to go back to the front and say hey no one has came yet and Jennifer walked with me to find her! She’s angel!!! Then the server asked me for my drink I said Amaertto and Coke which is a very easy drink and I get it there every time I come to McCormicks. She then proceeded to bring me and Amertto and lemonade I asked hmmm is that Amaertto and coke she replied “yes I asked them if this was right they said yes it is” I’ve never seen Amaertto and Coke be a yellow color but okay and I asked her to take it back now the next drink came and it looked like Amaertto but it was 10x stronger than what I’m used to. I don’t like being disrespectful to servers so instead of catching an attitude I decided to go to the bar to then realized the server wrote in the wrong drink all along. Of course Jennifer was standing there and said “don’t worry I’ll bring it to your table for you” then she talked with the manager and they got me a free drink. The server did end up apologizing but it’s still not okay based off the service I received. I’m not sure what was going on with the server as I’ve never had a bad experience here like ever but I’m deeply disappointed and disturbed. Thankfully for Jennifer (I hope I’m saying her name right as she was the hostess in all white in the front). At least the food was good!
