If the place can do that well, then they might be on to something. Unless I have covid (I do not), the pico was a flavorless cup of tomatoes, onions, a pinch of cilantro, and watered-down lemon juice? Not one hint of saltiness or other flavors. For some reason, I expected a house made chip. They were not. I'll give them this, they recently opened and probably need time to fine-tune the menu so it hits a wide variety of taste buds without being too hot or flavorful. For the record, I make my pico with habaneros, romas, enough cilantro, onions, and garlic to suit my taste with key lime juice for a bit of tanginess. Give me a shout if you want me to drop in and make you my pico. We'll still be friends at the end of the day, so no hard feelings. I'm just a random guy from Sacramento, CA, so your experience may vary. Every day, we have an opportunity to learn, grow, and do better.
