I never eat at mcdonalds personally. But I stopped here to grab a quick meal for my senior father at his request. What we experienced was the most unacceptable, outright racist experience, I am still shocked that this place is even in business! As we ordered, I was very polite as always, said thank you, and showed the utmost respect as I'm always afraid of what these minimum wagees will do to your food if you're less than 5 stars nice. At the first window, a black boy took our money, was exceptionally rude, didn't look me once in the eyes, treated us like trash. I was willing to accept that maybe he was just having a bad night. We pulled up to the 2nd window, and received almost identical treatment, except this time from a (chunky) teenage black girl. Again, didn't look me in the eye once, didn't give me a chance to ask for sauces or anything, basically just threw the food at us and closed the window before I could say anything. She was too busy having a conversation with one of her fellow employees to acknowledge us at the window. Upon having left, already upset and now driving up Route 1, my senior father (he hadn't eaten all day, spent the whole day travelling on airplanes, etc) opened the bag and found they didn't give him any fries, and his "fish sandwich" was literally only a fish patty and a dry bun, nothing else. That was his nearly $20 "value meal". Needless to say, due to his already being exhausted, us already being a ways down Route 1 and the stress it would've caused to return to this difficult location, we didn't turn around. Instead I've chosen to write this review of our experience, and will also be writing a letter directly to your corporate offices, to share with them. Now, I would like to stress that I am always extremely nice, beyond friendly with these people for reasons already mentioned. There was absolutely NO reason for us to be treated the way we were, so the only remaining reasonable conclusion I can come to is that their behavior was racially motivated. This is so far beyond unacceptable, and given the fact it seemed to be a universal attitude amongst your staff, I would say your entire team needs a serious re-education on acceptable behavior, and how to DO THEIR JOB correctly. Personally, I will NEVER return to ANY McDonalds, regardless of if anyone in my car is begging for it. This experience has soured me towards your business permanently. I would strongly suggest you get your employees in check, because I know we're not the first ones that have been treated this way. It came too natural to both the employees involved. I would also STRONGLY encourage ANYONE who is White to NEVER stop and eat here. The employees are openly outwardly racist against Whites. You will NOT get what you paid for, and based on our experience, you may get something you DIDN'T pay for (or want). If the manager or owner of this location would actually like to discuss this matter further, you are welcome to reply to this review, and I will contact you directly if so desired. I can provide exact dates and times of this incident if you'd like those details. At the very least, the 2 employees we dealt with that night are completely unfit and incapable of doing their job. And having worked at McDonalds when I was younger I know that job isn't that demanding. In any case, we won't be back. Do better, or don't be surprised when the consequences come knocking. One last point, this is all true, I have no reason to lie, and no reason to spend my time making things like this up. I just won't stand for being treated this way, and will NEVER stand quietly by as my father is disrespected by ANYONE. Period. I hope you take this seriously, because we did.
