Food was overpriced for the quality of top-tier dishes and they fell very flat compared to similar restaurants. Wagyu was not tender or tasty and quality of sushi fish was just ok. Tuna tartare dish was good, but the presentation was really weird with them mixing everything for you on your table. Miso soup was delicious but that was honestly about it. Would not come back

Mixed cocktails are some of the best in Boston especially the espresso martini. Highly recommend to stop in especially for those staying in the Four Seasons Hotel.

Many people came and checked in on our table. We had a late reservation and I was worried about what the service would be like...... AMAZING! If anything the energy went up the later it got. The staff were full on hustle mode! Kids were in from out of town so the Welcome to Boston in chocolate on my dessert was just the perfct touch. Speaking of dessert.......do not miss! It is pure WOW! Can't wait to bring friends back!

The dinner omakase is a modern take: rather than many small bites it’s four courses of a few dishes in each course. You end up getting quite a few dishes, and both my wife and I were too full to eat everything. Excellent place for a date, because the noise level makes you feel not noticed by others but quite enough to have a real engaging conversation.

The moment you sit down, they ask whether you want still or sparkling water, then bring out a $10 bottle without mentioning the price. I ordered edamame, which the menu listed as $9 for the salted version. The server offered truffle, and I agreed, not realizing it would be $18 — and it wasn’t even real truffle, just a heavy truffle-infused butter that tasted overly fatty. The sushi pricing seemed reasonable for a high-end place, but the presentation and quality were disappointing. It wasn’t served cold, looked dry, and the shape and overall appearance felt careless. The flavor was extremely salty and not enjoyable at all. Overall, the food experience was bad. I only enjoyed the vibe and the music, which is why I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1.
