  The Pujo St Cafe was a délicieux last-minute stop driving through town on the way to Beaumont. Mini-Me ordered the tortellini but asked for the dish without the cream sauce because of her allergies. The server was pleasant and was sure to double-check about how The dishes were prepared. The Chef came out and offered different preparation options that would make the dish tastier. She took one of his suggestions and enjoyed the dish immensely! I enjoyed a Cesar salad with crawfish and selected the fried eggplant parmigiana with angel hair pasta for ma péré (to go.) I could eat an entire bag of the homemade croutons. When we arrived, Dad's food was still a tiny bit warm. He said it smelled so good, he ate some it immediately -despite proclaiming it was too late in the evening to eat. We hope to visit next week before Mini-Me goes back to school. I hope to try the specialty cocktails and the beignets. I didn't take pictures of the interior but the decor is artistic yet welcoming.

  I want to write a review not only about this wonderful little restaurant with amazing food, but the people. My experience was a little different because right before Christmas my husband and I had taken my mother to eat because we knew restaurants would be closed for the next couple of days. That night before Christmas Eve I had left my purse with my wallet on the back of my chair at this restaurant. Through the holidays my family and I stayed home and enjoyed home-cooked meals and did not leave to where I would have noticed that I left my purse. In other words, my purse had spent the holidays at the restaurant, and I didn’t even know it. When it was time to take my mother back to her home town the day after Christmas, I noticed I could not find my purse anywhere and remembered the last time I had it was at this restaurant. I immediately called and though it was already in the evening, a nice gentleman named Devin answered and said they had it safely locked up and it had been there safe all Christmas holiday. I am grateful for people with good standing morals that kept my purse safe as we know what a headache it is to replace a drivers license and things in your wallet. I want to separately thank them for that. On top of that the coconut shrimp was amazing along with the eggplant Parmesan and shrimp bisque. All three were amazing, and we will be returning and hope that people not only recognize that even though the food was amazing that staff character can make a difference as well.

  Brunch was amazing! Best place in town. Everything I’ve eaten on the menu for brunch, lunch & dinner I have loved! Service is great! Sit at the bar regularly with Kole!

  Food is outstanding, best bang for your buck$. Service is excellent, waitress was attentive but not over the top. You gotta try their Blackened Shrimp Pasta(Shrimp Pasta Lafitte) and the Eggplant Parmesean 😋 oh my!

  Everything was delicious. We were a little bummed out that the mimosa flight wasn't available during the week, but we were still able to order one. Gumbo and the shrimp bisque were tasty. Beignets were ok. We were hoping for a variety of beignets but we're happy to be able to order some of the basic ones.
