Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

First thing I want to say. Please please PLEASE do NOT take the
**prickly pear raspberry**
off of the menu. It is my favorite drink of all time. It's delicious.
This is my go-to Whataburger. There is one woman that works here that I have trouble with. She is a bit snarky and gets my order wrong on a regular basis. Other than that, the staff here work hard and are generally kind.

There was only one car in the drive thru but I was told to go to the second lane. Someone came and took my cash, and after 3 other cars came and went, in the other lane, someone brought my food, and when I asked where was my change, she seemed not even to know what that meant. She did not know who came and got my payment and genuinely seemed confused that I would have expected my change!
