I was a bit worried at first when I first entered the “restaurant “, it looked very old and not clean. It was late we were hungry, we read all the great reviews, a customer heard my concern when I was talking with my husband and he told us the food is great you won’t regret it so we ordered to go.
He was right. We had the crawfish étouffée and the beans sausage, both dishes were absolutely delicious in big portions and we didn’t get sick!
I can’t give 5 stars because of the cleanliness of the shop/restaurant is not good enough in my opinion but the food is really really good ! It would be just fabulous if they were more careful with the hygiene.

I have only had the fried chicken here and just can't get past that. It is delicious fried chicken, well cooked with a crispy but not too thick batter. It's definitely worth a try.

Absolute horrible experience.. placed my order over the phone for a whole shrimp poboy and a half shrimp poboy with an order of fries. First two bites into my sandwich, I discovered three strings of long hair in my food, immediately disgusted and disappointed as I wasted my money and had to discard of my food. People serving the food should invest in wearing a hairnet, especially with consistent shedding. I should most definitely be compensated for this via Cash App or Zelle as I paid cash for this order and was stopping by on my way back to Texas. Will never return here! And P.S. I said no pickles on the half sandwich & received pickles on none of my sandwiches. If I could do zero stars I would!

Hubby and I haul freight for a living and this is our go to spot anytime we pass by! Everyone is always so warm and welcoming. They're doing southern hospitality right!!! We've had their fried chicken, boudin, boudin balls, catfish, fries, red beans and rice and biscuits. I've never once had a bad experience here...we'll always come back!!!
