Honestly we have been there several times and everything we have tried has been a rousing success, coffee is excellent and everything on the menu seems to be home made and tastes great, they also have an interesting shop with what appears to be locally made items.

As a former small business owner I hate to leave a negative review but I'm hoping this will genuinely help the business and frankly, everyone else seems to love it so...🤷 Got our meals to go because there was no where we could sit. Every chair has arms so I couldn't sit at all and when my husband and son sat down they got right back up because they hurt their legs. Ordered to go instead of the pleasant after church brunch we'd been hoping for. Portion size was incredibly tiny. No meal for an adult should be served in the small clamshell containers. Aside from that, my meal (sunrise taters) was missing both bacon and egg on top and was far from crispy. Daughter's waffle sandwich looks like a joke. Eggo waffles we'd never even buy at home much less go to a restaurant to order. Served with fake corn syrup maple flavored whatever. After all the positive reviews we expected a lot better than this. At least somewhere we could sit, that's such a basic I shouldn't even have to mention it. When we asked if there was any more seating the employee truly did not seem to give a damn and she was an adult, not some smarmy teen! Just really disappointed and not sure if we'll ever try this place again. Lot more than just a bad day going on here and responses I read on here to reviews are a lot of defensive excuses. I've owned a restaurant, I get it. But don't cut corners with your basics. Just my word of advice. Make sure everyone can have a place to sit that is comfortable, whether disabled like myself and my husband or just fat folks who want your food. Make sure your food portions are hearty. Folks should be impressed with your abundance and really, potatoes are cheap. The rest like incorrectly made food can be forgiven because stuff happens but if you can't even get the bare bones right I'm not sure what to even say other than God bless you and I hope you take this to heart as the kindness we intend it to be.

Friendly staff, but portion sizes were very small. Waffles tasted fine but were floppy and too soft. Bacon was good, but I only got one and a half pieces with my waffle. When I asked if that’s all the bacon that comes with the meal, our server said that we could just order extra bacon. We were charged more for our items than what the menu prices showed. Food was served on Dixie paper plates with plastic utensils and a whole bottle of Mrs butterworth was brought to the table for my waffle. Felt a little tacky. Would have enjoyed the experience more being served on real plates with real utensils and decanted condiments. Feels like not much effort was put into the dining experience for the price. Pictures show price discrepancy. *Edit: I did forget about the hashbrowns we ordered as a side with the waffles. I was told it was an upcharge of $4, totaling $12.50. We were charged $13 even. Much smaller discrepancy but still an overcharge. The extra charges on the other line items were not addressed. Did not take a photo of drink prices but the soda was priced $2 even and the sweet tea was either $3.50 or $3.25 I believe. Not large overcharges but still something to keep an eye out for when visiting this restaurant. I still stand by my complaints about food quality, portion sizes and feeling cheap being served on paper. If this was a food truck I’d understand, but this is a sit down restaurant. Unsure how a septic system keeps a restaurant from being able to wash dishes or have a commercial dishwasher. If it’s not possible, maybe consider parchment/deli liners on reusable plastic food baskets and plates. And for syrup, maybe individual syrup packets just like the jelly and butter packets that were brought to the table. I love to support a local business but the quality and experience was a miss for me.
