We come here quite frequently and staff is always great and so is the food. I was compelled to write this review simply because of the busser I see here every time we come. He is always working so hard and seems so sweet and a great addition to the staff. I hope he’s making good money for the amount of work he does and knows it’s appreciated!

Outback used to be worth more money for what you got, sides smaller than years ago and those steaks cook way down compared to back in the day. Flavor and service were good as always.

Normally, I don’t put out bad reviews on companies, even if they deserve it. However, I could not put out a review on this particular restaurant for my experience on yesterday. Me and my wife went for lunch- I ordered a salad and a salmon meal, I mentioned to the waiter that was assisting us to make sure that my salmon was well cook or cooked through – and when they brought the salmon out to me, it was not so the gentleman apologize and mentioned that he will have them to cook it a little bit more – well when they brought it out the second time it was cooked through however, I took a bite and all in a sudden I felt something else kinda clingy on my mouth- so I pulled the food out of my mouth and along with it was a long piece of hair. The one thing I dread to happen to me at a restaurant happened. I will likely not be eating out for a while because of this experience – I understand that some folks may not be as bothered by this as I am – but I am and I Ivwas very bothered and irritated and disgusted.

Firstly, I had not been to Outback since the mid 90's. That said, the "new" batter used on the Blooming Onion was not to our liking. It had way too much salt. We also preferred the tempura onion ring style batter that they used to use. Secondly, my wife ordered the French onion soup and wedge salad for her entrée. This was delivered to tge table at least 15 minutes before my entrée arrived. So she was all but finished with her meal before my meal even arrived at the table. The only saving graces were that the server was very attentive, AND this meal was a Christmas gift card so the $100 sub-par meal didn't come out of our pockets.

The host sat us even when we said we were waiting on one more person to show up, so we would rather wait but Our waitress was very polite and on top of things and even comped a meal when it was wrong when we didnt even ask for it to be. The steak wasnt cooked correctly and was way too salty, and the bloomin onion and chicken that we ordered was over peppered who ever was in the kitchen that night either needs more staff so they arent rushed to get people's food out to avoid mistakes or they need more training. 2 out of our party of 4 ended up getting sick a few hours after our visit last night, so they also need to check the quality and dates of the food. Outback used to be so good but have significantly gone down hill. I understand why they only have one location in wichita left.
