  If you're looking for authentic, go elsewhere. This is not anything close to authentic. The food had a flavor, but it wasn't very good. It's food definitely aimed at people who don't like to venture too far from what they are used to. I've had better tasting and more authentic out of a food truck than I did from this place. I was excited to try it because I think Wichita is severely lacking in this "genre" of food, but it's a big disappointment.

  We ordered 2 rice platter: spicy chicken and the mixed platter and a lamb/beef wrap. The beef/lamb gyro taste is pretty lamb forward. Which I wasn’t a big fan of. However, my brothers really enjoyed it. I traded my sibling and really enjoyed the chicken rice platter. The rice was flavorful, the lettuce and tomatoes added freshness and the sauces brought it all together. The portion of the rice dishes were plentiful including the amount of meat was impressive. One thing we noticed was the food wasn’t really hot hot. The rice and meat were warm. We did order a side of Cajun fries, which wasn’t anything special and could have used a bit more of the seasoning. I was happy they gave us a few of each sauce to be able to try it. We loved the White Sauce and Blazin Garlic and wish the container was full rather than filled half way. The shawarma wrap packaging was really neat with their logo which told me, “Hey Wichita, we’re here to stay.” Took over 15 minutes for the food to come out. 1 cashier taking orders and answering the phone and I believe there was only 1 cook that day we went for lunch. Prices were reasonable for the quality and amount of food. The restaurant was clean with a limited amount of tables pretty spaced out. I’m definitely interested in trying the hero’s, hummus, and the drinks on my next visit!

  This is my second time ordering the Chicken Over Rice. I found I prefer no tomatoes and lettuce. The spicy sauce is okay in terms of heat, just not a fan of the flavor. Really like the Signature Sauce (or at least I hope I’m talking about the right one, the pinkish orange). I do feel a little skimped on the side dup. My first order was a smaller container that was filled up, knowing it was small I paid for an additional side. Not sure if when ordering extra, they don’t include the other sauces or not but my first go around I was given a side of all 4 sauces. This time I was only given the sauce I paid for. I’ve also had the hummus and it’s pretty good, but I do think 1-2 more slices of the pita would be great (your given 4 slices for a decent size container). Either way the bowl is really good and honestly enough for 2-3 meals.

  Incredibly grateful for a late-night food option that is not another burger or fried chicken chain! Everything we have tried on the menu is fresh and delicious. The chicken over fries or in the rice platter is super tender and outstandingly seasoned. We have ordered take out twice and each time the fries were somehow still crispy when we arrived home. This will be a regular spot for us for certain!

  Our House at Starkey went to Blazin on Friday this week, and was very disappointed in the overall experience, the staff was rude to us, our order was wrong and we were shorted change at the register. Needless to say we will not be back to your restaurant and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
