  Visit: Friday, Jan 9 at 4:40 p.m. Location: McDonald’s – 2200 E Santa Fe St, Olathe, KS 66062 I ordered a $5 meal with a lemonade/iced tea. The food was fine, but when I asked for a refill—even offering to pay for it—the employee acted irritated and only poured a half cup. If your refill policy doesn’t cover lemonade or tea, that’s okay—just let customers know up front. Giving attitude to someone who’s politely offering to pay isn’t a great look. Not all McDonald’s are like this. Clear signage and a little training on how to handle refill requests would help. I’ll gladly update this review if the policy is clarified or the service improves. 😊

  This experience was UNACCEPTABLE. I visited this McDonald’s with my child and ordered through the app. My child’s drink cup accidentally fell, and I asked the employee for a replacement. He refused, spoke harshly, told me to move aside, and even called the police. The situation was extremely upsetting and traumatizing for my child, and it affected my own morale as well. We couldn’t enjoy our meal, and what was meant to be a special weekend treat turned into a very stressful experience. Several other customers even paid for the cup to try to help.

  My son and I went there Friday Dec. 18 2026 at 1:30 pm. The service was very bad and the place was very dirty. The manger is very rude and refused to help us because they were busy. My son lost the deal code. The manager kept ignoring us. The manager was a Hispanic guy.

  Got the mcrib value meal plus add another mcrib sandwich for a dollar more. it was great, plus service was good.

  This McDonald's is snobbish & if some employees think you're poor (although you buy food & leave in 30 minutes) they won't say "thank you" & may even refuse to give you a refill on coffee. I bought two burritos & coffee & when I went back for a refill on coffee (I don't always do this), the tall woman with black hair ignored me & clearly didn't want to wait on me. Although she waited on guests at the counter, she ignored me. Finally, an older woman who saw this told her I wanted coffee, & she said "she'll have to wait". I don't think she would have said this to other people, and I had already waited about 10 minutes, patiently. This is a snobbish place & if they suspect you're poor, they'll treat you awful. I never loiter & I always buy food when I come in and I'm clean, but I won't be returning. I noticed the manager took a meal break right during a busy time at breakfast which seemed strange. There were people standing around waiting for service while he took a break. I overheard him tell someone once that a homeless person can stay all day as long as every 30 minutes they buy something. That is ridiculous & I'm sure not how he treats other customers who he thinks is not poor or homeless. There are many older people in McDonald's across America who sit for a hour or longer in the dining room and talk and no one says anything. This "30 minute" policy is clearly meant to discriminate against the homeless and poor because it's not enforced on anyone who management thinks is not so. This is wrong and shows management's lack of respect to all customers. It's bad enough the food is overpriced, but some employees, including the manager, are snobbish. I don't see this at other McDonald's but I see it here.
