The menu has changed alot since opening...potato salad and coleslaw as sides are unavailable. The beer selection has contracted quite a bit as well. The lamb burger was removed...and added were loaded fries and mac and cheese with toppings. Big whoop. We built our own sandwich this visit...my dining companion selected a fried chicken breast for he sandwich, i chose grilled....both were fairly tough and dry. Service was good.....the lone bartender somehow also served 3 tables in addition to ours...things arrived when they should and glasses were refilled and she was friendly and patient. Value was somewhat low..at 70 plus dollars for 2 chicken sandwiches w fries and 4 beers was ok- of the sandwiches are great and they werent. I like vinyl but not enough to fall for it again.

Friday evening, before a Notre Dame home game is the setting. We're locals, trying to find a quiet gem close to home. So disappointed in Vinyl Tap & Table. Our first time trying the place out. So loud from conversations & it didn't seem to have any thing to do with it being because of ND home game. May be the high ceilings? The 2 women on the floor were really hustling, I'll give them that. Place was not fully packed, we waited for over 30 minutes for our order to come out. Bone in wings, & a burger with fries. Food was 'meh'. 2 wines with dinner, & an iced tea. Bill came to $50. No nice rock & roll quietly playing in the background. Price is Right on the TV, thankfully the volume was off. Restrooms were not quite clean, one had no paper towels in the dispenser, just a roll of brown paper towel on the counter. We always ask each other if they want to go back. If the answer is yes, we ask each other if we would get the same thing. Halfway through our meal he looked at me & asked if I would come back. We both agreed right away that no, neither of us would want to come back. Just our honest review. Nov. 7 2025.

Best burger place in town! Fries are always perfect, burgers are juicy, and my to-go order was ready really quickly. Dine in or take out, you'll be happy you ordered from Vinyl Tap and Table.

My wife and I stopped here after getting straight off our plane from the South Bend Airport. I ordered a Floyds Floyds Deluxe Beer and was surprised at the large amount of beer I got for the cost. The beer was ice cold and tased great. I ordered a Tennessee Whiskey Burger and my Wife Ordered 8 Hot wings with fries. Both of our dishes were flavorful and the portions were large. Our server was incredibly nice and friendly. She recommended my wife the wings and she was definitely not wrong. She even got us a little bit of the “Bat out of hell” Sauce to try which is their spiciest. The atmosphere was very casual and the walls were decorated with Rock n Roll memorabilia. Very relaxing place to sit back and have a couple beers with a delicious meal. Definitely recommend it to anyone in the area.
