After looking online to find a good Happy Hour deal online we decided outback in Mishawaka. When we arrived about 4p we asked for the happy hour menu, The server said he didn’t know the menu so I pulled the happy hour menu up on the phone for the location . He let me know he didn’t know anything about it since it wasn’t advertised on the table( but it was advertised online for the location) so we shared an order of wings ,1/2 order of loaded fries 2 reg margaritas. Billed $50 Wow! SMH ( not the happy hour price)

Avoid this place! Ya the food was ok but the service leaves a bad taste. We got a gift certificate for xmas, hadn't been there in a long time (certificate was for multiple restaurants but we chose them). 5 adults and 1 child. Gift certificate was for $150, bill was for $225 (separate bills)....explain to me why the REMAINING BALANCE AFTER THE GIFT CARD was still $142??? After doing some SIMPLE MATH, we found out the WAITRESS tipped herself $60 ( plus taxes again idk) plus her tip on the other bill on the table, said it was a "company policy" thing for "gift cards"...automatic TIP APPLIED! WHATEVER!!!! The service was HORRIBLE! DINNERS COMING OUT, THEN APPITIZER, THEN MORE DINNERS, worst thing is...my husband and I ORDERED THE EXACT SAME THING!!!!! They still screwed it up! Been in the service industry before, it was ALL THE WAITRESS'S FAULT!!!! Would NOT have tipped her AT ALL!!!! Complained to the manager and all he could come up with was $20 more in gift cards! Like im coming back here again!!! But what's worse...my PARENTS got the same gift card for xmas and had THE EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't know if it's POLICY or STAFF but either way, avoid this DYING DINOSAUR!!!! ITS NOTHING BUT OVER CHARGES FOR MEDIOCRE FOOD!!!!!

Worst service ever!! We were brought our food by someone else but only part of it. We had to flag someone else down for our soup and salad since we couldn't find our waitress. We were going to order dessert but couldn't get our waitress to come over to the table. We asked for our check and boxes for leftovers. That took forever. We finally asked another waiter for our check and a box. He showed us the little gadget on the table but it was all on one check. He said our waitress would have to split it. She finally showed up with the checks and left again. I dont usually like to leave money on the table but I paid with cash and didnt feel like staying even longer waiting for her to come by again so we just left it there. Worst service ever!!!

We had reservations at 6pm for a group of 7,, I watched the waiting empty 3 times and we still weren't seated. We went up after 40 minutes and they said again they would text us and never did. I watched 2 groups of more than 10 people come in after us and we're seated,, I had enuf and said we need a table now,, we have a 95 year old dad here and all this wait,, hostess was rude and so was I,, we finally got seated at 7pm and the table was not accommodating for 7,, I will never go there again. Terrible service and no respect for our group whatsoever. My wifes steak was overcooked and all I ordered was a salad and figured they couldn't screw that up. I would have left had it been just my wife and I but it was already so late and the rest of the group was hungry so we stayed. Total disappointment but never again.

First, although there is an online "waitlist" you can get on and where you can pick your time--the fine print tells you this is not a "reservation." Fair enough, but when we arrived after using the online waitlist and getting a confirmation of it, we were completely ignored. There were probably about 20 empty tables. The hostess did not smile or greet us even though all the other guests who were waiting were seated on the benches and we were the only ones standing in front of her. She then got menus and seated four different tables before my husband finally went up to her and told her we had gotten on the online waitlist. She took our name and phone number the same as if we had walked in. Then, she proceeded to seat other people including those who came in after us. Finally, one of the other groups she called pointed out that we had been waiting (directly in front of her hostess stand) since before they had entered. There were only two of us, but it had taken over 15 minutes to get a table despite being on the online "waitlist."
The waiter was great and friendly. However, my husband ordered his steak medium well and got it that way. I ordered my stead well done and got it medium. When the waiter asked if it was okay and found out, he took it into the kitchen. When he quickly returned, the steak had been flattened and was black on the outside, but still pink inside. Obviously, whomever was cooking was not aware that turning up the heat isn't the way to get something done on the inside and that most people don't want a steak that has clearly been pressed into the grill in a bad attempt to cook it quickly.
The meal doesn't really fill the plate if you get a salad as your side instead of a different option. The food was okay, but I felt that for the price, which is $20+ per entrée, it wasn't really worth it--especially after getting the hostesses cold shoulder and a flattened, charred steak.
