I've loved BloomingThai since their first incarnation on the square, I loved their food truck, and I still love them on 4th street! From the 💗 by your name on a bag of take out, to the BEST pineapple fried rice in town, to the only Thai place that consistently has mango sticky rice, to the perfect ratio in their Thai iced tea, to the friendly staff when you dine in or swing by in a hurry for a pick up order there is nothing bad happening at BloomingThai. An absolute all-star choice here in Bloomington!

I’m Vietnamese the pho not real pho more like fake pho. The service is also terrible they’re not nice at all especially when you have kids with you. They treat people disrespect and rude. The waiter is so bad English terrible. The Thai across the from them lot better more polite and the food is good.

I had put in my order online and within 10 minutes, I had my food and was out the door. They are super quick and the food is delicious! I'm a huge fan of the crab rangoons and the Pad See U.

There was an initial misunderstanding as it relates to customer service. I was called regarding my order and closing time. I already understood closing to be 10pm which is why I chose a specific time for pickup (9:45p). I was called to inform food was ready at about 9:35p and that they were going to be closing. With that being said I was already aware of closing time. I put in the pickup time for 9:45p because I live roughly 25 min away. When I arrived I asked who I had spoken to an unnamed man spoke with me. There was a bit of back and forth due to the earlier phone conversation. It was “resolved” in store but I truly believe it could have been better.
The food was good and the price was good as well. The broth was a bit too sweet , but the portion size was perfect. I ordered the beef pho. I understand rock sugar/sugar is added to pho broth but, it was noticeably sweet, not subtly. Overall it was good though.

Regular Khao Man Gai is dried and tasteless.
The chicken should chewy and juicy, instead it is dried, rough in texture, and tasteless. The rice should be sweet and marinating with steam chicken juice dripped from steamed chicken, is also tasteless
